I know I saw someone get a shiny stunfisk by mistake and it had like, 5 out of 6 perfect IVs.

Whoa it's been that long? I thought Cockfighting Society was in 1996-wait.
WELP.
:psyduck: Psyduck sez: "it's mah birfdai!"

EDIT: I'm like, 90% sure there's some blog out there by some guy wondering why it says "20 years" when Cockfighting Society didn't come to the US until '98 and then the next post in his blog says that he looked it up and found out about Japan and goes on to demand a US-exclusive anniversary in 2018. Stupid thought, but I think the idea is kinda funny.

There were a few small events for Pokemon's 10th International Anniversary, but nowhere near as big as the 10th Anniversary events were.

I'm seeing more stuff like "OMG, I remember playing my first Pokemon game 20 years ago" despite being non-Japanese. :P

10 years ago we didn't even have Wi-fi trading and events were pretty hard to get because it either meant going to one of 5 (or fewer) places for a day's event to download a mystery gift item or there were a few store tie ins (usually TRU) where you'd go to trade Pokemon for rare Pokemon.

I still remember people buying up as many FRLG copies as they could so they could get a lot of Aurora/Mystic Tickets from Pokemon Rocks America events and flip them on eBay.

It's also the 10th anniversary of the PMD and Ranger series (and Trozei, but lol), and Gen 4's launch in Japan.

It's strange to think how far Pokemon has come in 10 years, especially with how big it remains and how much more relevant it's becoming internationally nowadays as a mainstay with tournaments and events.

Speaking of Cockfighting Society Ranger, I kinda want a new installment for that. Guardian Signs was really good though... hard to top, maybe that's why we don't have a new one yet.

Also note the region name from that game and the east continent in Xenoblade Chronicles X.

(I'm mildly afraid that I already pointed both of those out and will sound stupid...)

Pokemon ranger was fun for what it was, the second one is personally my favorite, but the fact you got a Manaphy from the first game made it all the sweeter I just wish I had wifi at the time to do the Darkrai event in the second one for a sweet ghost demon.

I got the first pokemon ranger game pre-owned because I heard I could get a manaphy in it, but even after starting a new game it didn't let me get a manaphy egg so that was a load of bullshit. I just traded on the GTS for it.

You had to download the manaphy mission over wi-fi.

And it was only up for like a 3 month window.

Oh yeah...

Uh, I think I had an Action Replay at the time.

I was a cheating little shit back then.

Those Mythical Cockfighting Society distributions are just the motivation I needed to actually bother earning the cheddar for a New 3DS!

I just hope this is enough to lower all the people wanting a Mew for their level 3 Caterpie.

So Red/Blue/Yellow won't have the restore points like most of the VC games. Which i think is nice.

Hello fellow trainers! I'm looking for an XY safari for a shiny hunt need. My own safari's got Pansear, Braixen and Charmeleon. There is a thread for friend code sharing, but I'm looking specifically for Stunfisk. I could also hunt it in the wild, but the odds are much more in my favor in safari.
