The last game in the 6th Generation has yet to be announced. If the seventh Generation is coming any time soon, it will be in 2017.

Going back on previous gens, Black and White came out September 2010, it's "last" game(s) came out October 2012, 2 years and one month afterwards. 3 (or 7 in Japan) Months later, Gen 6 was revealed in January 2013.
X and Y released in October 2013, if it went by the same way as Black and White did, that would be the theoretical Pokemon Z would come out this year on November.
Though there has been nothing close to a reveal, Black 2 and White 2 were revealed on February in Japan and then released 4 months later on June. Going off that time frame, if Z was revealed this month, it would come by November/December. Then Gen 7 possibly being revealed in later winter/early spring, maybe early summer.

I mean, this is all going off the past and obviously doesn't prove the future, but it's fun to think about.

At this point there is no way a new game is coming this year. The new Mystery Dungeon game has taken its place. They wouldn't release a spinoff in the same timeframe as a new game.

Gates to Infinity came out in Japan a month after black and white 2 came out here.

I need a Reshiram to have my legendary collection complete. If anyone has one they'd like to trade I can offer a selection of other legendaries, including but not limited to Zekrom.

Anyone remember those old Pokemon watches from 2000?
Apparently I've had one for 15 years and its battery still works. Though the time was off quite a bit.

Oh man, it even still says "Marill" when I press the button on the side.

Terraem, I've got a Reshiram on OR that I'd gladly trade for a Zekrom. At the same time, though, I really want the chance to catch Kyurem, so I'd probably need to borrow Zekrom, take it with me alongside Reshiram, catch Kyurem and then give you Reshiram.

It is a fair bit of screwing around, though, and could be time consuming.

On a separate note, I've taken up the Masuda method in an attempt to get myself a shiny Flygon. This may take a while.

I still think your name sounds like a delicious sandwich.

I have/had a Japanese Ditto (it's been a while). I Masuda'd for AT LEAST a thousand eggs of various species, and got nothing.

I was cursed as a baby, you see. By a wicked witch.

RNGs will never give me what I desire, be it shiny Pokemon or decent rewards when rolling for dungeon loot in MMORPGs.
I always get disappointment. :I

Jeez, that sucks. Maybe one day the numbers will stop hating you and give you something decent.

I've only ever won ONE random luck based thing before IRL.

The year: 2005
The luck based thing:
This!
Specifically, this:
Quote:
Kids WB has announced their "Yugi's Find The Missing Monsters Sweeptakes." Beginning Monday, March 14, and going through Friday, March 18, Kids WB and Toys 'R Us are teaming up to give away 1000 monster hunters for each $20 Toys 'R Us gift card. During this time, kids will need to tune in to Yu-Gi-Oh! at 4:30pm (ET/PT) and watch for clues to help Yugi find his missing monsters. Once they identify the location of the missing monster, kids can either log on to the Kids WB website or send in a postcard by mail to be eligible to win.

That $20 gift card went towards buying Emerald. <3
The only sweepstakes/raffle/whatever I have ever won. Ever.
Aaaand it gave me over 999 hours of enjoyment, because you bet your booty I maxed the play timer.
(also the only time I ever watched Yu-Gi-Oh!)

Nice! That's pretty daisies good. I've never won cheddar before, though I have found it on at least two occasions.

In most of the files I've had on Pokemon games, I've never encountered a single legit shiny. I've only found shinies in Gold, HeartGold (in which the first Sunkern I ever found just so happened to be shiny), an emulator version of Emerald, and Omega Ruby.

So apparently GameFreak is cracking down on hacked pokemon, at least in Japan for now.

Those who have already been confirmed to have done this will have consequences enacted soon. This follows recent instances of save data loss for innocent players after they have encounter certain people with modified data. We'll keep you apprised of further developments

Just as a side, I am totally okay with people having hacked dittos for breeding as long as they don't use said dittos in play. I'm even okay with people hacking for legendaries with good stats, because SRing for them is a pain. I do wonder why people saves were effected by just encountering the hacked mons and if the hackers had malicious intents?

Edit: I poked around Reddit. Nothing has been 100% verified but the biggest part of this threat seemed to come from Ranked Battle Spot matches (and maybe the GTS). The biggest tell is if the player has an avatar less icon. Apparently, people found an exploit, mainly from cloning Hoopa and other legendaries, that allows them to basically transfer malware over Battle Spot, corrupt your save, and delete it. As I said, nothing have been 100% verified but everyone should still be wary and probably just stay away from Battle Spot all together for now.

Is it possible to receive hacked Pokemon through Wonder Trade? If it is, I might have some that I need to dispose of.

I don't really use Battle Spot, but I hope to enter some sort of competition sometime.
