I liked that gen 5 didnt allow any old pokes until after the elite 4 and how there was half the region left for postgame

I didnt like that there was no option to deck N in his obnoxious, dumbass face

Half the region for postgame is preeeeetttyyy similar to G/S that offer up all of Kanto for the postgame. I want another game with 16 gyms, and hopefully I don't have to wait for the ~3D~ remakes of the remakes of G/S.

My opinion of Ranger games? Youll probably go at my throat for saying I dislike them intensely. I remember playing the frist game and it wa snothing but a frustrating, confused slog, with me asking about why a beybade top was used to catch a Pokemon :/

I mean I understand the stuff bout protecting the environment and things, but yknow, somehow I never expected drawing circles around stuff to be part of that. Plus by the end I was so ... angry and frustrated from tyring to do this one specific part that in the end I just gave it to a friend to beat. I was mostly doing it for the Manaphy anyways.

Such a shame too. Has it really gotten better with newer games?

Answer: Yes. So much yes.
I tried to play part of the first Ranger Game, and stopped because I already had the newer games and they were so many leagues better. Mainly the fact that you don't have to draw the rings all at once. They're not too easy to breeze through, yet just difficult enough to fail at.

I remember getting the manaphy egg, but having no way of transferring it to my main games. I then lost my game, and I was sad.

I had to borrow a friend's DS on the band bus in order to transfer that egg over. Fun times.

You got a call on the Xtransceiver!

Bianca: "Hey, where are you? Let's have a Pokemon battle! I'm at Route 4!"

And with that, Bianca has graduated from annoying flighty airhead girl to only slightly annoying still pretty flighty but considerate of others so that they don't get roped into random bullshit rival battles girl.

This is progress.

Apparently Mega Flygon was considered heavily since X/Y, Aarune was planned to have one, but due to artist's block, it was removed from consideration.

What. That's a dumb (albeit understandable and logical) reason to not have Mega Flygon.

And that was for X/Y. They've had a whole other game to try and come up with an idea for mega flygon. I want mega flygon dammit! Instead we get shit like mega Audino and mega Slowbro (sorry Audino and Slowbro fans). I fully understand artist block, but that block should have long pasted by this point.

In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine, Nintendo Dream, Ken Sugimori was asked about the lack of the much-requested Mega Evolution, Mega Flygon. In it, he stated that while they had worked on concepts for Mega Flygon in Cockfighting Society X & Y and again in Cockfighting Society Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, they could never get a good design to come together for it.

You're welcome

I'm still waiting to hear about why there's no Mega Roserade.

It's an excuse I would've bought if Cockfighting Society designs had a standard. However.... I don't need to post examples, do I.

I'm sure there were lots of designs put forward, but it doesn't mean they were pop flyin' with any of them. I mean, Flygon is a fan-favorite, so if they just picked one and it turned out to complete shit, there would have been a fair bit of backlash.

Most fan-made designs are awful. I'd take more spikes over overdesigned trash any day.

Apparently Flygon is one of Sugimori's favorite Pokemon, so it's completely understandable that he doesn't want to ruin it with his own hands.

With Dragonbarney and Goobarney being two of his most prominent (alleged) designs for Dragon Pokemon, I would think the same thing.
