So apparently Princess Agitha from Twilight Princess will be playable in Hyrule Warriors. You know, that creepy, bug-obsessed girl that gave you wallet upgrades? Whose bright idea was this?

Whoever realized the potential for parasol stabs and bee swarms.

And here I was hoping the cast would be made up entirely of both new characters and old ones we cared about. Oh well, it's just one ten-year-old girl nobody likes. Hopefully the rest of the cast will make up for this.

Actually I know at least one person who's super excited to see Agitha in Hyrule Warriors...so uh, yeah, people do care about her. Y'all haters.

Can't say I was expecting Agitha but it is a welcome surprise!

Watch as they forget to put in recurring series villains as playable characters because they prioritized the likes of the Running Man/Post Man, Music Box Guy, etc. Seriously some of these character choices are all kinds of questionable.

I think the only questionable one so far is the creepy, entomophilic ten-year-old.

Dudes, seriously. Most of your favorite characters will likely end up in the game. This is a Dynasty Warriors style game and they usually have dozens of playable characters in them. If you're a fan of Gundam, and you've played or seen the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games then you know they have TONS of mobile suits from each series that are playable, so I wouldn't doubt this game will get a similar treatment.

Seriously, if they revealed that Vaati was going to be a playable character, I would cry tears of absolute joy. If they revealed both Vaati and the Fierce Deity and maybe even shadow Link I would probably die







Actually on second thought I think I'll try not to die.

Agitha, Argorok, and Zant were revealed because the news was focused on Twilight Princess. Considering Twilight Princess as a game, after taking out Link, Zelda, Ganondorf (who has already been hinted as being in the game), and Midna, there isn't really many other characters to pick from in the hero department, and Agitha was pretty popular in Japan to begin with.

Also, she's at least interesting as a choice. Fighting with bugs is pretty neat.

When they move on to announce characters from other games we'll get more diversity, it's just that TP being the first game that they're announcing characters from makes it feel lopsided and like they're digging to the bottom of that game and leaving the other games untouched.
