Aaaaaanyway, for those of you in the US who signed up to receive the Pokemon newsletter via email, a code for the Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire special Demo Version should arrive in...13 or so hours!

Those who didn't, fear not! There are still several other ways to get the demo. Check here for more info.

For some people, yes.

TPCi pulled a fast one and told us that the newsletter could take up to a week to arrive.

I got mine this morning. The must have had a flood of people sign up for it and ran out of codes or something.

No, it's because the newsletter is "being sent out in batches".

That's the only excuse they have.

Interesting. I wonder if they wanted to avoid overloading the e-shop servers like when pokebank came out.

So I haven't been in pokemon thread for a long time.
I don't know if this is right place for this, and is kinda off-topic but...

I was wondering if anybody here knew stuff about the inner workings of Generation III pokemon games.

Specifically how they determine multi-species breeding like Illumise/Nidoran and item-specific breeding like Wobuffet/Marill.

I came across some interesting stuff recently on how they did evolutions/breeding and it's kinda neat.
