AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I'm really liking Mega Beedrill and Mega Bird Jesus. Their designs are nice and Beedrill and Pidgeot have pretty underwhelming stats, so Mega Evolutions should treat them well.

Although the choice of abilities on both of them is pretty meh. Pidgeot doesn't really learn any low accuracy moves that it could utilize really well(maybe Hurricane if it gets a good Sp. Attack boost) and Adaptability on a Bug/Poison type is only mildly useful.

I think they said they are giving Pidgeot more SpA so yeah I think they have hurricane-spam in mind. The major downside to no guard though I think is that you'll get hit by stone edge 100% of the time.

Did anyone see the bit in the leak about being able to get all legendaries between the two games? I guess you have to travel through portals or something to get to them so that's kinda neat.

It mentioned being able to catch all non-event legendaries within Gen 6. Besides the obvious Gen 6 trio, that means no Kanto legends in ORAS (since they were in XY), and that they may save some legends for the post-game of the next Gen 6 game. If there's as many legends as HGSS and BW2, though, it'll definitely be fun.
Besides the trios from Gens 4 and 5 (which the page already revealed) I'm expecting Regigigas and Heatran again, since they do fit Hoenn's theme.


Speculation time: hopefully all these HYPERSPACE HOLES means that HOOPA is going to pay a visit.

Also, really bummed about no Emerald remake (seeing as Emerald is my birthstone and the game came out/was delivered on my birthday that year; plus I think I still have the special tin that came with it and the battle frontier card pass thing) though I am hoping with ALL MY MIGHT that they've remade the first and greatest Pokemon game cutscene and have done it great justice.


And thirdly, I have no idea which version to get. I have and would go for Ruby first, but I only actually used Kyogre (of those two).
Plus Sapphire has potential Poke-waifu material Latias in it (without need for the event-y stuff).

The only thing that weirds me out about the new megas is that Latios and Latias look almost exactly the same save for their eye color. Their megas were leaked earlier, so old news.
Mega Pidgeot looks majestic though. And ORAS should probably have elements of Emerald in it considering HGSS did the same with Crystal. How much will be implemented is a mystery though.
I also guess that I imported my legendaries from Soul Silver for almost nothing if all but event legendaries are coming.

Pretty pop flyin' with the new megas. They look pretty cool. Still holding out hopes for a Mega Mightyena (with Fur Coat).

Crystal was different because plotwise the only addition was the Suicune-Eusine side-story
Emerald completely changed the plot

It's already been confirmed that you only fight one evil team and the other are antiheros, helping you only because they want to stop the other guys
Just like RS, now with 100% more personality

We'll have to see just how ORAS handles Rayquayquay and his enigmatic Mega, but he may not contribute to the plot at all.

The faraway island event needs to happen, Im so sick and tired of everyone wanting Mew on the GTS.
