I got a Phione over Wondertrade just now.

I never thought I'd get either an event legendary or shiny over there. Well, now I really only need a shiny and I can call myself master of the universe

Yo I'm having a little trouble calculating some stat stuff

I'm running an Assault Vest Clawitzer, Modest, pentaperfect without attack. It's got 252 in Sp Atk, and I want to max out the defense and the special defense so with the assault vest the defense and special defense come out to be the same but I'm dumb so the calculations are hard because WEIRD ALGEBRA. Could I have some help?

I don't think you can. Assault vest raises Sp.Def. a lot higher than EVs can raise your Def. Even if you put 252 in Def and 0 in Sp.Def. If I haven't miscalculated.

so I can full on max out my Def and they'll be at least close to equal?

Yeah. At level 100 with 252 Def EVs it should have
275 Def
214 Sp. Def. Assault Vest adds 50% to that so you get 321 unless I don't know how the adding works.

I'm making custom Gym Leaders and Elite Four members for an imaginary Pokemon game. It's surprisingly pretty fun.

Remember back when there was a guy here who was making a firered romhack with us as leaders and stuff, and it never came to fruition? I miss that.

i'm curious though - i have almost a full dex in ss and platinum - how can i transfer them to y and how many of those can i transfer? i heard that you can only do so many or something. can i trade via local wifi with ss/pl and y? in particular i have legendaries and like a politoad and stuff i'd like to transfer that'd be hard to get otherwise

they arent mine, i dont even know what language that is. and the way you get em i think is the same for all legendaries, just keep reloading the game if the guy isnt shiny


also shazza you can transfer as many as you want, but you need to transfer them to black/white/black2/white2 first then use the poketransporter on the 3DS store and they will be moved into the pokemon bank
