Speaking of shinies, I caught my first shiny (a Doduo) today

I chained an Absol as well even though I was chaining Drifloon so I dunno

It was 10 years since my last shiny. In X I found a shiny Dedenne in a friend safari. Then when I started a new game on Y, ran into a shiny Panpour within an hour. Ridiculous.

i dont have the patience to chain so im just masuda breeding eevees for my umbreon and ive gone through like 100 already and no shiny. sigh

Ok, he basically lets me choose a button for activating the ultimate weapon and one that does jack shit.

So you didn't immediately think of the Matrix when he offered you that choice? I chose the blue button because Team Flare was all about red, but if both buttons did jack squat, what's the point then?

i didn't immediately think of the matrix because like 90% of games offer a choice like that, which ultimately dosen't matter because they force you down the same path

and no, i don't know what the point of that whole situation was, would have been much better to just say "hey if you beat xerosic, he won't start the laser, if you lose, he'll press the button"
