Stone miss is too risky, and leaves you open to priority users. I'd replace it with mach punch but that's jsut me.

Stone Edge has been quite useful for being able to do more damage to flying types that'll resist reversal. Having Mach Punch over Stone Edge will also leaves Hitmonlee susceptible to Gengar. Priority will always be a problem but most commonly used priority users such as Azuamaril's aqua jet and Talonflame's brave bird shrug of Mach Punch as if it were nothing anyway.

I recently trained a Hitmonlee with a very similar mindset as the Hawlucha you're planning on training creaky.

Hitmonlee @ Liechi Berry
Adamant : Unburden (HA)
EVs: 252 Atk, 252Spd
Endure, Reversal, Stone Edge and Earthquake.

Instead of relying on a focus sash being destroyed whilst setting up a swords dance, Hitmonlee uses Endure to survive the hit and gets the attack boost from the activated berry as well as the Unburden boost. 200BP + STAB Reversal does a lot of damage.

God what I would give for a Hawlucha with Reversal

I would actually cry out of joy

What do you mean by 4 IV

It means that 4 IVs are perfect. In my case Defense, Sp.Atk., Sp.Def. and Speed.
Now I'm trying to get HP in on that party. Since I don't have a Ditto with perfect HP, and no female Froakie with perfect HP, and just hoping the random IV is going to be 31 HP would take forever, I had to do this.

Lapras is in Water 1 like Froakie is and also in the Monster egg groups, as it happens, Mareep are also in Monster and I already got plenty of 4 IV ones with HP from when I was breeding for my shiny. So I bred Lapras with Mareep and eventually Lapras with a Froakie until HP sticks to a Froakie.

How would you go about checking for that? I've got tons of Froakies so I could at least look.

Guy who looks like a Psychic in the pokemon center in Kiloude City. He first gives you an estimate of your IVs as a whole, the higher the sum of IVs is the better he will say you. It goes decent -> above average -> relatively superior -> outstanding. Then he tells you what stats your highest IVs are in, and then how good as an estimate. If he says "Stats like those... they can't be beat!" or something along those lines it means that they're at 31.

I'll check them then. It was what, timid protean and female right?

With at least HP maximum. That would be awesome. Cause breeding with lapras takes a long time cause they don't get along too well.

A male Protean with HP and Speed would do too.

Sorry since most of my Froakies are born into Hasty only a few have timid and they didn't have the perfect HP stat.

Yeah, that happened to me too. Was it a red Flabébé? If so, it might be just that one Cockfighting Society. Wonder how that happened.

Yeah, it was red. That's so weird.

Also, my Aurorus sucks in battles with other players. I'm thinking about replacing it. I also want to replace the Greninja in my other battle team with the hasty Froakie I was traded B]

I'm disappointed my second team is such a bunch of pushovers, though. I knew Delphox was mediocre at best and Aurorus had a bad type combo but sheesh. Noivern and Trevenant don't really manage to do much either, and Heliolisk dies in one hit most of the time. Malamar also doesn't seem to be able to do much.

Noivern is basically the same as any flying type, don't get fooled by the dragon typing, you want to use him for very quick sweeps but not to last forever. It learns Boomburst, Dragon Pulse, and Whirlwind as egg moves and they're basically necessary moves because of their high attack and little drawback coupled with Noivern's wicked speed. It also learns Roost and Moonlight for recovery.

however trevanant isn't really worth it, aurorus has kinda shitty stats, and uh heliolisk is outclassed by light ball pikachu and ampharos

Got my booty handed to me by an Aurorus in the doubles battle test. It had an Aromatisse partner that sat there healing it the whole time. I had nothing to take it out.

I've had some success with my Heliolisk. Glare and setting up electric terrain when he gets a chance then volt switching out. He can't take any physical hits but special hits he can soak a little and dry skin lets him switch in on water moves quite nicely. Or his normal typing on ghost moves.

I'm sad that Trevenant isn't worth it because I really like it :c

My Noivern does have Boomburst and Dragon Pulse but I would up having to use one move slot for Fly during the game so I'll probably get rid of that when I can. Can I use a heart scale to teach it Whirlwind? I know I can get roost back because it tried to learn that as a Noibat.

I don't really care for Pikachu and I don't have a light ball, but I've trained an Ampharos in the past so maybe I'll so that again. The main thing I wanted to do over the course of this game was train pokemon I'd never trained before.

What about my Malamar? It's maxed in attack and hp evs, but I don't know what it's ivs are (I'm not really savvy on IVs and such yet, I'm fairly new to selective breeding and such). It knows Pluck (might be a placeholder), Superpower, Night Slash, and Psycho Cut. It seems like a pretty typical moveset for a Malamar.

Malamar should definitely have Topsy Turvy at all times.
