I think poor judgement was kind of the idea with Ly- ly... whatever da zug his name is. I find it refreshing. I miss an organization you can just thrash for the hell of it.

If anything, I hope they restore the genetics motifs that were obviously going to be central to the plot, but were removed somewhen during development.

I'm not sure I really want new Mega evolutions, the whole concept is kind of dumb to me. I really wish they'd stop making up new evolution ways for old Pokemon, only so they have an explanation why you couldn't evolve older ones or why you couldn't get baby versions in older games. Or just go ahead and allow some Pokemon to evolve 3 times instead of only 2, I honestly doubt anyone is going to flip a shit. And if they do, who cares? People will always buy the games and give them cheddar, there were enough people complaining about gen 5 and it still busted sales.

I also dislike mega evolution. It's so freaking gimmicky, and frankly I would rather have new evolutions for older pokemon (even though I'm not a huge fan of THAT, either). Like, what was the point of giving pokemon like Absol and Mawile a mega evolution? They're basic pokemon, just give them a real evolution if you want to make them more useful in battles.

Absol would be broken if it could switch into status moves like Espeon can. It would turn into a switch into a status move, Swords Dance on the switch, and begin sweeping with Sucker Punch. It's tough to stop, especially when it gets the support. Not having Magic bounce right away and needing to use the item slot for the mega stone are what keep Mega Absol balanced.

Mega Mewtwo was unnecessary though.

The Mega Evolutions are gimmicky, but too damn fun.

So I haven't been able to find anything on dual-type moves.
