I picked Y because it had a badass dragon on the front opposed to a fanciful deer with rainbow antlers.

Immortality sucks. Just look at Lysandre himself. It's likely that he's immortal, and he's trapped under a pile of rubble that he can never remove himself. He can't ever move, and he will never die. Not exactly the ideal life, is it?

It's a vulture. Hence the "death" theme and the fact that it's Dark/Flying. Just like the Vullaby line.

Not really no.

X and Y aren't like BW/B2W2, the plot is largely the same, but the legendary is changed.

In X, you get Xerneas, which is supposed to basically grant life to everything.
Y gets Yvetal, which is supposed to kill everything.

The third legendary is Zygarde, which nullfies both of them. Which means we'll probably see a Z version where Lysandre gets both and you have to use Zygarde to nullify the cannon.

note: it's also a trilogy that matches gen 3, with red and blue legendaries opposed to each other, and a third green one to stop both

to be honest they'll probably dig him out of the pit when they want to rebuild the town or to see if anything could be scavenged from the destroyed lab.
He'll probably be in jail for a long time after that

Pft, when do Pokemon villains go to jail? Get your act together man, Lysandres gonna come back in the sequel.

And then hell either end up in some wierd alternate world where up = fish or the legendary will eat him like that dragon did to Farquad in Shrek.

well he kinda fucked himself on that one. i mean look at AZ when he gets his fairy pokemon back. hes the happiest motherfucker in the world. and now that both of them have eternal life hes basically set

He still suffered for 3000 years to get to that point, and ultimately it kinda wasn't worth it. I imagine Floette is still not comfortable with the fact that he killed innocent Pokemon to grant them both immortality, so even though it came back to him after he let go of his hatred, it still likely can be disappointed that its trainer and friend did that.

So I got a japanese female Froakie from the GTS, to breed a shiny.

What I didn't notice, is that it had protean. And now I have two male froakies who have protean, which means shiny protean froakie oh yes please and thank you it is egg time

And I finally see how X/Y have diff. stories
The machine thingy grants eternal life and death, so Xerneas would be used for the life part and Yveltal for the death part holy shiet
