I relented and bought 10 dollars worth of loot boxes for the last day of Halloween. Ended up getting Pumpkin Reaper, Vampire Symmetra, and topped off my coins enough to buy ghosty Reinhardt. Plus I got Junkenstein and Skullyata earlier in the event, I really like those. Was kinda hoping for Witch Mercy but oh well.

The sombra arg lead to nothing. again. for like the fortieth time. Sombra better be able to cure my crippling depression and give me a hot dog when she's released, or I'm rioting.

I got bodaciously everything from the Halloween event. Skins, voice lines, victory poses, sprays, the highlight intros. The only things I'm missing are a few icons, but you can't purchase those with Currency! so I'm not counting them.
I have Onion Shuppet anyway so I don't really care about the other, inferior icons.

Despite her mess of an ARG, she does look interesting. I also like how she uses other options than killing. It's a good change of pace from Reaper and Widowmaker.

I don't see her not being super strong. She's going to change the meta. Which is a good thing.

People are talking about her being able to see Low-health enemies through walls but I don't know where this is coming from? Can someone source that?

Either way RIP Tracer, we knew you well.

EDIT: nvm it was in the intro video.

she seems so overloaded. She has utility never found in any other hero, she's an Offense hero so good damage is assured, and she has Tracer levels of mobility (except she can go up).

I'm trying to stay optimistic but first impressions aren't nice.

Except that, as far as I'm aware, her translocater actually has a cooldown more substantial than the blink. The blink isn't really that strong with just the one.

but it goes farther, has vertical usage, can go over walls, and she can use an Invis right after it to easily sneak behind the enemies, better and even faster than Tracer could ever possibly hope to do, which is the main thing you want in a flanker.

EDIT: also the cooldown on Transporter is only 6 seconds, you can see it in the Introduction video.

So it should also be mentioned...

Sombra's legendary skin concept art was shown.
Cyberspace
Los Muertos

A new Genji Skin obtained after +15 games with friends in Heroes of the Storm.

Arcade mode is a new change to the weekly brawls, featuring exclusive maps and unique game modes with different rule sets. Winning 3 matches in these gamemodes nets you a lootbox, which can be done up to 3 times a week.

"There's also a new mode called 'No Limits'. The single hero limit is coming to quick play(THANK YOU.) and the No Limits Arcade mode will be the new way to play without hero limits"

Arcade Mode will have a new map called Eco-Point Antarctica, a map centered around Mei.

Another map named Oasis is still heavily in development.

That's pretty much it, Arcade Mode and Sombra should be playable next week in the PTR.

Not super fond of the new brawls :T I don't want to play against other people. I especially don't want to care about winning if I do. But with this system I'm gonna have to crank out 9 wins a week, at least until some theoretical point where I'm satisfied with all my loot drops.

I think Sombra will perform best on control maps. Her abilities can lead to all kinds of differentiation "fuck you" moments for he enemy. I really like the health pack hacking ability, especially on maps like Ilios Well and Lijiang.

Might as well post this here but anyone from the EU willing to group up in Heroes of the Storm for the Genji skin?

Haven't had anyone to play with to get it and it's really cool looking so I'd love to get it.
