well i beat it yesterday but im not actually about the catchin part of pokemon.

plus once pangoro got powerup-punch everything died that stood in his way. debating on trading all my current gotten pokemon to EVA-01's X game and starting over with a different team

Yeah, I personally prefer to spend more time catching and training Pokemon - so I only just beat the second gym myself.



The Seviper ganged up on the Zangoose in my game, but I kinda beat them to it and KO'd it myself because Zangoose are boring as fuck anyway who even wants one of those.

Also I came up against a horde of Electrike - fairly certain one of them had a DW/hidden ability because its moves powered up randomly during battle, though I didn't catch it (in retrospect I probably should have).



Using the Dowser you'll find a Rare Candy a few clicks South of the Aquarium (the Aquarium is on the coast near the second gym).



I tried to name a Rhyhorn 'Horny' but the game wouldn't let me do that either.

Anybody need the Pokérus?

Before I forget to mention it again: Every so often in 'Super Training' your Pokemon will randomly 'find' a Training Bag - very rarely your Pokemon will find a clear/semi-transparent Training Bag called a 'Reset Bag' - when used this completely resets your Pokemon's EVs so you can undo any erroneous EV training errors.

So far I've had two 'Reset Bags' turn up at random - which came in useful because I didn't figure out that I had immediate access to Super Training until after my Chespin had earned EVs in battling.

Reset Bags are useful but unlike EV-reducing berries (none of which I have found yet) they don't give you any control over what EV stats get lowered - a Reset Bag completely nukes all your Pokemon's EVs back to zero.

I thought I'd mention this because to my knowledge no-one else has.

So now we know why all the trashcans are empty all the time! There's a guy collecting it!

ive found some trash cans that weren't empty

they were occupied by a dark shadow that fled when i opened it leaving behind an item

I got lucky and landed a reset bag to retrain my Shedinja. Didn't need any of those pesky defense, sp defense or hp stats getting in there!

So with super training, can you essentially increase stats without increasing level or how does it work?

daisies Pangoro, you're too strong for your own good. You 1 shotted two Goomys with your weakest attack.

If Super Training is the new EV training, then it will only begin to take effect once you level up.

If pangoro can learn surf I may just forgo the water member of my team for it.
