So I got around to listening to some of the tracks in this game.

People, let me say this now, this games Soundtrack is ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BRILLIANT, All of the tracks have alot of time put into them and the battle themes...oh my god, the Champion battle track makes up for Iris' by a million times, and the Kanto legendaries have a remix that is FUCKING GORGEOUS.

You're all in for a great Soundtrack, grab your anus'!

Actually really disappointed at how few new pokemon there are

I'm glad there's only a minimum of legendaries.

Mega Alakazam, he's now rocking a kickass beard and focuses on his silverware collection most of the time now.
Mega Houndoom, problem is that Houndoom can only be found in Pokemon X, but Houndoominite is exclusive to Pokemon Y.
Mega Manetric, It's the opposite of Houndoom, Manetric is only found in Pokemon Y, but Manectite is only found in Pokemon X.

I'm pretty sure the Megas are purely a nostalgia cash-in, so I'm guessing the answer is no.

By the way, I'm not saying that's a bad thing, since I'm hyped about Mega evolutions too.

I think they said in an interview that they aren't, since megas are for popular pokemon, game freak favorites, and to rebalance some Pokemon to give them use.

Fans and GF won't have favorites before the game really launches and gets going, and balance is best fixed after field testing (I.E. the players).

I'd imagine the next batch of games (Z, X2, Y2, W, etc.) might implement more megas, and maybe X and Y will update to accommodate them.
