I still prefer Splat Zones, but I definitely like Rainmaker over Tower Control. In TC, it's hard to get back after losing for a while. In Rainmaker, you get a big a** weapon that at least makes you feel like you can make a dent in the score, even if the opposition is just 5 feet away.
I also like it because my new best weapon, the New Squiffer, is amazing in it. I actually nabbed a win just now by sniping the Rainmakerer during overtime.

Speaking of the le Squiffer Noveau, I love Ink Mines but hate Inkzookas. Any tips on the 'Zooka?

I had such a blast in Rainmaker that I went from B+ to A (at the first rotation of the stages, most people weren't aware of the second path in Kelp Dome)



Be sure not to be surrounded by enemy ink (especially behind you) because the recoil of the shots will push you backwards and away from the trails it causes, making it hard to evade in case the enemy reaches you. Thoses recoils can also screw your camera if you have your back on the wall or push you off the edge to a bottomless pit.

Jumping can also add that little extra height to reach further or higher enough to splat that one sniper (especially in Moray Towers).

Rainmaker was hard to get used to, but it's really interesting and fun. I think my favorite modes would be Tower Control > Rainmaker > Splat Zones. I wish my internet was better though, because every time I use my killer wail on it, and try and shoot it as well to break it, I disconnect. Also, I was only able to play about 2 games with my friend in Squid Squad before it got so bad we couldn't play. ;-; I think I fixed the worst of the problem now, so hopefully they'll want to play with me again. We were an awesome duo. He goes roller, and I use my dual squelcher.

Rainmaker is amazing and I love it. I'm not always brilliant, but I love it.

I'm continuing to kick booty with my Octobrush, and I love it when my Beakons mean we can retake the Rainmaker almost immediately after it's been lost.

People dropping out of ranked is such a pain, we kept getting assblasted in rainmaker and then we had to go at it with only 3 people against 4

If you were playing with someone named "CN" then it was a connection drop instead of a quit.

Same for anyone named "Angelic". I hope I can try doing Squid Squad with my friend again. If it works and I don't DC or have more connection errors with them, then maybe I'll try and add you guys and anyone else who would wanna play with me.

I decided to use my amiibo to get Hero Roller and Charger. I found the final boss to be really easy with both... too easy, even.

Also I've been using Hero Roller a lot because I'm a hopeless showoff.

I liked the Amiibo challenges. Especially the Kraken challenges because they were ridiculous. Only ones I didn't like were the limited ink challenges because holy fuck they were stressful. Especially the invisible platform and sponge challenges.

Final boss was fun with all of the weapons (Kraken was hilariously easy).
