Minecraft won't give a shit how many gigs of memory you have-Java limits it to 512 MB and it runs over that in ten minutes.

You can increase the limit, but 32 bit Java only goes up to 1024 mb, which makes Minecraft pretty fucking terrible if it can only run for a bit over twenty minutes at a time on such a standard operating system.
Seriously, have you seen the geometry, Minecraft should never need more than 200 mb for what it does.

I got an idea for a new item.

Salt. If, for aesthetic purposes, you want an area of dirt to not grow grass, you use salt on the each block you want to stay grassless.

You dont have to use it then. And if you do, it wont make all dirt grassless, only the blocks you use the salt on. Some people may want to make a dirt lot or a post-apocolyptic world where there shouldnt be any grass.

I can't find any goddamn sheep. I have shears and everything but not a single one anywhere.
Found my third abandoned mine in a ravine though, and two chests at ground level as soon as I walked in. Got a diamond and melon seeds out of it as well as some bread. I love exploring.

My farm is finally complete until we either find Pumpkin Seeds or a mod creates some.

I found my first mineshaft

Dear god this is not fun this is not fun at all
It's all dark and scary and there are tons of passageways and I'm getting kinda freaked out because I had to fight zombies and I don't know if I'll run into an Enderman and my claustrophobia is not helping haaa haaaaa haaaaaaa

Sandwich you wont run into Endermen. They're 3 blocks tall and tthe shafts are only 2 high. So even if one spawned it wouldn't hurt you.

Oh. Well that's good news. Really good news. But wait holy shit they're that tall? Guess I'll be having fun when I eventually meet one.

But no this mineshaft is creeping me out to no end. Tiny enclosed space, tons of twists and corners, and I'm perpetually staring into complete darkness 15 feet from me. God knows what's right in front of me. ._.

You are wondering about what is in front of you?

Have you tried turning around once or twice?

Poison spiders are smaller than normal spiders so they can fit through the holes.
