I also see Caliburn there, he was alright in Sonic and the Black Knight IMO.

Sonic 06 is a challenge, that once issued you cannot back down. Only real men can endure the pain and torment that this game has to offer. It's no use but to take the challenge that was made to offer.

Sonic 06 is just a game I need to play.

Adventure was fun. Adventure 2 tried so hard that it became funny.

other than '06, sonic games never really got worse than kind of mediocre

it's just after '06 it became cool to hate on the series, so GAMAN JURNERLISM jumped the fuck on that

even now, if you look at all the reviews after '06, they basically boil down to "okay this is a good game but the series still sucks"

at this point it's not worthwhile to even check because that's all they say, begrudging admittance that it's fun, and then pretending that hasn't been the case for 8 years.

I feel like instead of Sonic Lost World gaming journalists were given a copy of Sonic Jam and instructed to play the Sonic World mode

Lost World is pretty mediocre. It attempts to introduce a stale gimmick and bring back the Rush Adventure material-collecting to facilitate it. Bad idea. Also reintroduces Wisps, which by now are no longer innovative and the new powers they give are pretty lame

That's only the 3DS version, which is utter shit

No man, the 3DS version controlled miles better than the Wii U version. The Wii U version is odd in other ways that reek of sloppy design; for one example, you arbitrarily can't perform a homing-attack on item boxes. Wall-running and the parkour system in general are also thousands of times worse on Wii U.

Both games were mediocre at best, but at least the 3DS version had an engine that worked.

Yo dude, cool it with the reaction images. It does happen on these forums more often than we'd like and we don't get to all of them, but we expect people to be more mature.

This goes for everyone of course. If you can't think of something to actually say, then don't say anything at all.
