Yeah, it's been saying that for more than half a year now. They haven't been rejected, but there's been no word on them since their announcement.
The fish's coding is already in the game, it just needs a model, textures and spawn conditions and it's all set.

Exploring an abandoned mineshaft. I got the treasure already, because I was lucky enough to stumble into it on my first try. There was also a spider spawner, possibly blue ones but I couldn't see because I was out of torches. I killed the shit out of all of those spiders. I'm currently trapped in the depths trying to find my exit. I'll probably have to dig out because my sense of direction is so terrible.

There are so many lava bugs with 1.8

Ive seen lava flow through a lake, and have on numerous occasions, seen wood touching lava without catching fire or anything

I think the scariest thing about Endermen is when they're the distance and they turn around and you can see their eyes glinting in the darkness.

I have yet to find a mineshaft or a ravine in my old minecraft world, but I started a new one the other day while I was experimenting with seeds.

The seed 'Enderman' is pretty interesting; when I used it I spawned right next to a tree and some coal. There's a village just a small distance away, on the sand nearby, along with a surface dungeon filled with sand. The dungeon had a zombie spawner when I found it.

AND there's a lava pit just a small distance away from the village--but be warned, it's covered partially in sand.

Now I just have to find a good sized cave to mine in...

You know what, I was watching the yogscast the other day when they were making videos of the 1.8 prerelease. At one point they showed some pointy silver item that they didnt know what was for. I just realized what it is. I remember reading a while back on the minecraft wiki that 1.8 is supposed to have spikes. The thing they had was a spike to be used as a part of a trap.

Oh god.

I never realized why people thought endermen were scary. I fought plenty at night without any problems.

But then I saw one underground.

Now I'm scared of them anywhere.

My new world I made spawned me 2 ravines separated by a one block thick wall, a river, and nothing else near me but tons of trees and vines.
