Anyone playing deus ex? There were some mixed reviews because of the microtransactions, but I'm really interested in it.

I'm offput because what I've seen makes it feel way too much like Human Revolution, not enough "new" to make the leap and the lack of variation in locales (you spend the manjority of the time in the same city. Am I wrong? I played HR to death and Id rsther not just get more of the same.

I've seen people complain about it but I still loved it enough to play through the game at least once through with every single class; some of them a couple times, all the way to max level.

I guess I'll wait and see how deus ex developed. If nothing else, I can get on sale down the road when things settle.

I'll happily get it when it discounts, I love me some conspiracy stories. The microtransaction stuff is entirely optinal, its all stuff you can likely get with console commands or trainers.

eh. it was entertaining the first time but i didn't bother with playing through it again. the story didn't make much sense and the combat was way too easy. the expansion "fixed" some stuff i hear but i wasn't interested by then

If you're interested in programming games, the new Humble Bundle contains GameMaker Pro and a bunch of source codes and some other goodies to get you going.

Just downloaded World of Tanks over the weekend (ironically based on the humorous World of Warships trailer ad).
I haven't had this much fun with a game in a while.

Humble Store is having a big End-of-Summer sale. Picked up Borderlands: Pre-Sequel 66% off. Gonna wait on Black Friday for Dark Souls 3 to drop in price more... and Witcher 3, which isn't on sale right now.

Now that I got a real gaming PC I gotta get all the games... but... my wallet

I use this frequently, lists trustworthy game sellers deals constantly, and when there are major sales (steam summer.holiday sale, etc) they make nice tables listing everything that's discounted.
