I think there should be a stronghold located on every generated continent that's larger than a certain size. That way they wouldn't be ALL over the place but there would still be a greater chance of finding one.

I dunno, that's just my opinion.

I think the game should spawn a stronghold every, say, fifty chunks.

What's the problem with the bugs?

Oh wait. Bugs! I get it. Bugs, not bugs.

Alright. So on the minecraft forums, they reported that Jeb has been doing like super mega crunch time on fixing bugs.

The reported bugs that he's been working on and told us are:
Quote:
* SSP chunk memory leak
* Mineshaft density (half now)
* Increased stronghold count to 3 per map instead of one
* Furnace tile entity crash
* Crafting bench ghost items
* Vines (and leaves) crash in nether
* Use item animation in SMP (blocking and eating)
* Blocking in SMP
* Sprinting with right-click or sneaking
* Added some blocks to creative mode
* Fixed dropping items
* Nothing can be eaten in creative mode
* Enderman client-side problems
* Chicken and cow drop burned food
* Squids drop exp
* 1.7 worlds should get structures
* Farmlands rejecting melon and pumpkin seeds
* Bonemeal on melons and pumpkins
* Bonemeal on mushroom only works on dirt or grass
* Added item drops for cracked and mossy smooth stone brick
* Adjusted fog strength at low positions

Oh god, I hated the Workbench Duplication glitch. Thing is, I made a cake on Creative, and I didn't know about the glitch. Empty buckets errywhere. I ended up breaking into the void under them to get rid of them, and then following them.

I wonder if a 1.7 world will still be available for download.
That'd be nice.

so, new map

Spawn on ANOTHER grassland island. Trees anywhere nearby? lolnope. Not even solid land for miles. I got lucky and found ONE tree that was really more of a shrub, and I've been using saplings for wood.

I'm entirely convinced that not spawning anywhere even CLOSE to a tree is a bug, and I'm mad it's not on that fix list.

What? I always spawn in forest or swamp biomes. ALWAYS too many trees around.

I always spawn on sand.

I've gotten huge expanses of desert with nary a tree in sight.
