Just played some Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. It was real stressful, but surprisingly easier (at least in early stages) than what it looks from watching videos.

Beat Shovel Knight a while ago, haven't started the DLC yet but I really enjoyed that one. been Playing Borderlands [360] with Joe, we're trying to get the last key now. Beat Wind waker, loved the ending battle.

So I found out that the Rome Total War in the new Humble Bundle just doesn't work on Windows 10 with apparently no generaly successful way to fix it. I was so looking forward to this, I used to play it when I was young all the time.

How I feel about Transistor. I bought it during the winter sale, figured "oh Bastion runs just fine on my laptop, Transistor should be good too". Unfortunately it simply refuses to run. Apparently it just doesn't recognize my integrated graphics card, googling it just showed me a lot of people with the same problem and no solution I would find could fix it.

I guess I'll just wait a few more months until I can build my PC. Was really looking forward to it, though I guess I can still enjoy the soundtrack in the meantime.

Anyone else catch the FF XV infodump conference?

New demo, 5 episode anime, full length CG movie ala Advent Children, early access to a new minigame, and several new trailers, which included the reveal of the fact that the car will eventually be able to fly.

It started out cheesy, but quickly won me over. There was just too much there to not be taken seriously.

Speaking of the demo, it's clearly designed to be a tech demo, but the game caps out at 30fps and drops to 15 a lot. Which is... not ideal. It's not super fantastic-amazing looking graphically either, which makes it weird.

Combat seems really simple but possibly complex? You basically hold down the attack button to attack and roll when there's something trying to hit you. But everything is like, level 1, and you get very few actual attacks or weapons so that's probably not how most of the game works. The one actual fight is pretty fun.

Still better than any turn-based system FF has ever had.

Hyper Light Drifter is pretty fucking dope.

Hah. I generally don't use ENBs for my games because I prefer a 'pure' look but I am using one for VTMB and it does actually have a performance impact. There's a bit more aliasing than I'd like but forcing enough AA to make it disappear means I can't hit a solid 60 on my GTX 780 SLI setup anymore. Considering the game's from 2004...

I've had it with Telltale's Game of Thrones. Since I started this goddamn game, everything I do and say just makes everything fucking worse, and not one of these fucking choices matters at all so it's completely futile to try to do anything. The fucking ending is the same no matter what you did throughout the game and every other character will bitch and whine at whoever you're currently controlling because it's all your fault. You know what? When that person was going to die or this place was going to burn or whatever the fuck no matter what choice I made? I can't care. I cannot possibly care about any of it. It's completely pointless and the worst part is that some people actually think that's good! "It's Game of Thrones, it's supposed to be bleak and full of despair," no, fuck you, I want a story where something changes, where something matters, and when the game is nothing but dialogue options and quick-time events, the story is the ONLY thing I'm invested in. When I'm stuck with a collection of whiny idiots who think I'm supposed to be omniscient and every choice I make has to be perfect and then shit all over me whenever something bad happens

Fuck it. Just... I wasted that time and cheddar. This was a complete waste.
