I got the Platinum Trophy on Disgaea 5. My collection is building up.

What's the difference between Halo 3 and Odst?

Halo 3 is, well, Halo 3, the ending to the first trilogy of Halo games. ODST is a side-story that takes place in the city that you see destroyed in the beginning half of Halo 2, with the events of ODST starting just before the Covenant ship jumps into slipspace. The only reason it's called Halo 3 ODST is because the game is running on the Halo 3 engine.

ODST is a spinoff game based on the Halo 3 engine. It's definitely worth playing.

To expand a bit more on the gameplay side of it, ODST is slower and more atmospheric most of the time. A few missions in the game focus on running and gunning like the chief, but the majority of the game is spent wandering the city. There's still shootouts, don't get me wrong, but it's a less bombastic game by a long shot. As close to a stealth shooter as Halo will ever get.

I didn't care for it much personally, (got it right after marathoning the whole series so I was probably just burnt out) but I know plenty of people who loved it.

It is pretty fun but the bits where you're the main character can be kinda boring. Its a lot of walking with nothing interspersed with the trademark halo 30 seconds of fun. Your goals are to find your teammates and as you play you find evidence of stuff they did like a busted up helmet, a bent sniper rifles, etc. When you get to it it lets you play out what happened which is the best part of the game. I honestly forgot what happens at the end because the game, while fun in some bits, REALLY drags on. The opening sequence is really really good though.

I spy an 8 gig Wii U for 149€. But Bayonetta 2 and TW101 are still 50€ each. This is why I don't deal with consoles anymore.

ODST

Along with what all they said, it's interesting to note that it takes place entirely on Earth, the only Halo game to do so. It also has some of my favorite gameplay set pieces in the series like defending a rooftop from swarms of Banshees and Phantoms and the climactic garbage truck stampede. Plus it has what might just be the best soundtrack of the series.
Definitely a little weird as far as Halo is concerned, but still well worth playing if you're a fan of the series.

I didn't know the pillar men from Jojo's bizarre adventure were in mother 3.

So I've finally decided to get the 7 Day Survivor achievement in Dead Rising. I got 5 Day Survivor a couple years ago and figured 7 day wasn't worth it, but now seeing it as the one achievement I don't have in the game kills me. All I gotta do is survive in a zombie filled mall with a dwindling health bar that can only be refilled with non-respawning food acquired through scavenging or murdering survivors and psychopaths.
It's gonna be a blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast

Finally got a chance to play that indie game "Off" that was pretty popular a few years back. It's really fun to play, though the puzzles do throw me for a loop every now and then.

I forgot to mention a day in Dead Rising is two hours, so I had to play for fourteen hours all in all without saving. Anyways, I did it and it doesn't feel nearly as satisfying as I hoped it would. 20 gamerscore really wasn't worth it, but at least I've got bragging rights to the three people in the world that care.
