The Elder Scrolls series is on sale, so I got Oblivion.

Is there anything I need to know before playing it? Are there awesome proletariats that are necessary for first playthrough?(graphics updates, general neat stuff addons?)
Or are there proletariats? I don't see anything on the Steam page...

Picked up Morrowind though I probably won't play it yet. Interestingly enough I've got zero interest in Oblivion.

@Blake, The Dark Brotherhood questline in Oblivion is probably the best questline in the entire series.

Dawnguard stopped working, and doing the whole "delete and reinstall DLC to harddrive" bit doesn't fix it.

What the fuck man...

EDIT: OH WAIT NEVERMIND! Turns out that because the only way to fix a broken DLC is to delete and reinstall it, if it breaks, you have to restart the whole daisies thing. What I thought was the problem not getting fixed was actually Dawnguard resetting itself in entiredy!

Man I don't want to go through that shit again what the hell!?

You could backtrack to previous saves until you find one that works.

I thought of that until I realized that I found out through my loading the game and it telling me "lol one of your DLCs stopped working lol!" I tried it anyway for shits and same shit. I haven't played on my other characters though, so maybe...

...still, it didn't have to be on the one character I did the whole daisies thing on!

And this iPad is a pain in the booty to type on!!

EDIT: basically, what I had to do was while the entire DLC from the hard drive and rue download it. That made it do what it did for fallout, which was restart the entire thing.

They can also make it where the blades aren't a bunch of arrogant douches when it comes to paarthanax.

"You can't do things with us until you kill this dragon who helped you, but is still a dragon so he needs to die."

Or how about I'm dragonborn and you listen to me like you said you had to in the beginning you cunt?

It's funny because the Blades don't do fuckall to help you compared to the Dragon monk dudes.

The argonians have improved dramatically. Everything else too.

Can't say I really like the sound of this, I'd preferred it if they went with a hitbox-based system. I also don't like stacking enemies.

It's is TES: online right? It's not really that surprising to figure they'd make it more like wow than like any of the other, single player, elder scrolls games. Personally, I'd prefer they make it more like the single player versions, but a lot of the mechanics that made single player possible would just complicate the multiplayer.

Just finished the Mages College questline in Skyrim. Actually one of the most enjoyable I've played so far.

The Mages college was easily the most enjoyable part of the game for me.

Bit too short and straightforward for me.
