SOME of the themes feel out of place for a Mario Game. SOME.

I hope you don't mean Gusty Garden in that list of "some" because then we've got problems, boy.

While we're on this subject:

I love the Bowser music, but I feel like the battle in this game, while fun enough, didn't live up to the atmosphere of this music.

I mean, this seems more like a final boss of a JRPG than a 3-4 minute struggle with Bowser where you're spin attacking him around a planet.

This theme seems a bit more suiting to the fast pace of the fight:

Even though Bowser wasn't really as threatening in this fight.

not as bad as the bowser battle in Galaxy 2

even more epic than the original theme, and if you're even halfway decent you'll beat him in 30 seconds

I think that's a big part of it. Bowser fights just don't last, or when they do, they're "escape from the castle".

The main Bowser fights I've enjoyed were World, 64, and 3DLand. They felt fairly epic, and were a decent enough challenge without coming across as stupid (SMB3).

Speaking of Galaxy, I don't know why everyone says that Bouldergeist is so hard. (Excluding the Dare Devil Comet and the Time Trial in the Boss Blitz Galaxy in 2.)

Also, World was the first Mario game I played. (As Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World.)

FOR THE GAME BEING SO FUCKING DIFFICULT, I JUST STARED WHEN THIS HAPPENED.

Just... why?

He isn't really too tough, it's just hard to keep from getting hit, and the Comet Star makes the battle hell.

He's one of my favorite Mario bosses though.

Because Bowser's an idiot, that's why.

I never had any trouble with bouldergeist, I could usually beat him without getting hit once.

Honestly, the only thing I got stuck on was cosmic luigi. Everything seemed easy to me and then he came and slapped me in the face.
