Make a sketch/plan together first? There are maps available too. Besides, I think it's more interesting to create something off your own than copy an existing thing. It's your project of course, just pitching in.

Blasted, rocky hellscape with permanent dark clouds shrouding the land from any natural sunlight. Active volcanoes, plains, and fissures dominate the area, especially Mt. Doom constantly spitting lava. Sauron's castle is another big feature, with the fiery eye enshrined at the top of the tower.

You can also look up some LotR images online or scenes from the movie to get an idea.
