I DID play them... I just wanna read the MANGA too....! I know the the same thing happens in both the Manga and game but there are also things that are different....

Try looking at a bookstore; chances are they'll have the manga there.

And I mean a real bookstore with actual manga sections. None of this FYE garbage.

I keep reading b**tching about how we'll never get KH3 and they'll just keep selling us side stories. Which is funny because BBS was awesome and everyone thought it was KH3 right up until the point its name was revealed. We'll get KH 3-D which has 3 in the name. And we've got Re:coded which is set after KH2. Personally Nomura can sell me on any KH videogame at this point. Wait, what's that? Jiminy Cricket and Larxene are getting their own spinoffs? Awesome!! How much? Just take my debit card!!

BBS was less of a side story and more of a setting up KH3.
Games like 2358623856/2 days and Re:coded gave nothing to the overall story and are entirely skip-able.

BBS was great because of the intertwining story and the mystery of who they were and why they weren't in the original game.
Plus it was shown at the end of KH2 as a secret video, meaning it has great influence on the main story.
Whereas 56569569/2 days and Coded and COM didn't really add anything relevant.
In fact they were so irrelevant many of the characters never knew any of it happened.

The new DS is supposed to be about Riku and Sora becoming stronger by revisiting worlds they've previously been to and...I'm not sure, Mark O master but I'm fairly certain nothing of true value will happen.

So I want KH3, I actually want this franchise to end.
Not because it isn't good, Kingdom Hearts is great.
I just don't like to see all these add-ons and have people tell me I need to play then just because.

I was worried when Chain of Memories came out, but once I played it I couldn't imagine playing the series without it. The game series needs to end before a bad game, but never any sooner. Every game I've played so far has had at least one strong redeeming feature. I personally like how experimental they are with the battle system. 358 had a clunky name but Xion's story made the whole thing worth it. Plus I'm a sucker for moments of "oh....that's why".

358/pi had a pretty bad combat system.
The game in general was horrible.
Xion was an add on that didn't need to exist.

COM helped understand the beginning of KH2 not nothing else beyond that.
Re:Coded is retarded and didn't deserve to get remade.
The new 3DS one will most likely suck, but they're putting in Hunchback of Notre Dame world so that's cool.

My advice for Squeenix...
Make KH3 already
Make it long and epic
Put in Ven, Terra, Aqua and all the original people.
Bring in D-linking too, that was neat

More FF characters, maybe Shadow and Interceptor?

The Agrabah worlds were a bit annoying, but nowhere near as bad as every Little Mermaid world.

It was cruel to have Curaga hidden away in Atlantis in KH2.
I just muted it and played heavy metal a capella in the background.

Certainly dead inside. Her leitmotif still gets to me. The Little Mermaid worlds are best accepted as colossal jokes. Just laugh along like they're really cheesy movies from the eighties.

I personally kind of enjoyed Atlanica in the first game, but after that it was just stupid.

I'm kind of a sucker for water worlds.
