I wonder how this update will affect seeds.

I mean, will gargamel still be a big valley? Or will it be COMPLETELY different?

Completely different.

The 404 challenge will no longer be in affect. Plenty of other amazing and well known seeds will be drastically changed. It was an unfortunate thing that notch couldn't fix, either. So, yeah.

And whaddaya know. They did delay it, if only for a few days. Well, Jeb's wording was that it probably wouldn't arrive on the 8th, at least. Also, passive mobs flee from attacks now! Even wild wolf attacks!

Doesn't work for me anyway.
For some reason there's always a solid chunk of stone beneath the gravel.

Speaking of 404, could I get the coordinates for the giant drop?

You shouldn't need it. You spawn like, really close to it. THere's a large stretch of gravle and you just walk up to the middle and punch.

Will it include an Enderman pit and Creeper pit? Both kept separate of course.

Try trapping an Enderman by building a pillar around him with a single window into the "room" while not looking at him. Then put a sign directing people to look inside. Suddenly, teleporting mob trying to eat their face.

Catapults need to be added next. So a trap could consist of tripping a plate and having the left wall open out to the sky/pit and then bam thrown into space.

Or put one on top of a tower. Instant commute to the city, in style!
