Actually I don't really have favorites; I think a lot of the tracks in the games from Gen 3 onward were great
X and Y just really stuck out for me

If you've never played Chrono Trigger, what the fuck have you been doing with your life?

I had no idea this existed.

Because it went unused, silly, of course you wouldn't hear it.

For example, this track was only used as a battle theme for the World Championships Finals:

I am pop flyin' this retains the trumpet filled theme of the soundtrack.


I think X/Y's soundtrack was very...lackluster, no track in that game really stuck out for me.
I think Gen III was the peak of Pokemon in Music (and everything else) with Gen IV being second, besides I wasn't being entirely serious in my post.

The Mother 3 Soundtrack is pretty good, but omg it's fricken 6 hours long. Double that of Earthbound/Mother 2.
