I have silver armor and a gold hat thing(though the top hat is being shown of course), as well as a blue moon and phaseblade(thank you people for giving me nice stuff). I think I might be able to take on the corruption.

I hopped on a friend's server and he hooked me up with demonite galore, so now I'm wielding all the demonite items except the Hamaxe.
Yellow phaseblade yesss

Also he gave me a magic mirror and I found some Hermes Boots in a chest.
Also We had a blood moon so I got a top hat yesss
