playing a friend's re:coded

characters and plot are okay, nothing original but not horrible

the battle system, though is cool

in every level, besides the regular jump around and mash A, you get to play a different type of level

traverse town: side scrolling

wonderland: 3d shooter

coliseum: turn based RPG

there are probably more, but i haven't gotten far enough

re:coded adds nothing meaningful to the plot.

I consider BBS and KH2 the best games of the series, they're tied in my heart.
They need to stop with the side crap and make KH3 with Ven and Aqua and Terra already.

How would that work? They're supposed to magically bring the other two characters out of play when one is essentially in a coma, while the other is possesed by Master Xehanort? On top of that, where will the other KH games fit into that? Sora, Riku, etc. most certainly must have a place in KH3.

I didn't say Sora and the others weren't in it.
And the point of KH 3 is supposed to be to save ven and terra and aqua.
That's what the letter at the end of KH2 was about.
Aqua fighting with Sora makes me moist.

*headdesk*

I like this game, but I have no idea where I need to go half the dang time.

Actually the letter at the end of KH2 was about Sora and Riku needing to get the mark of mastery because of Master Xehanort imminent return after the destruction of his nobody and his heartless.

And that is the game I have been waiting for. Funny thing is I still haven't played all the way through the first two games, but i know the storyline almost completely.

Did you watch the final movie in BBS?
Sora reads the letter and says to Kairi "There are still sad people, everyone's waiting. I have to put back everything that's connected to me." He's more than likely talking about Ventus.

If anything that shows how they will be in KH3.
They at least know where Aqua is.

Allow me to point out how much I despise Re:Coded. The controls were nice, but the camera was absolutely terrible, free, or locked on. Having BBS' gameplay style was nice, but the gimmicks and useless nonsense killed it. I managed to get to inside Riku to fix memories and nonsense.

The best part was when you "control" Donald and Goofy in Hollow Bastion. When the highlight of a game is not being able to control the/a main character, red flags pop up in my head.

The dungeon crawling segments were the worst part, poorly put together, even worse gimmicks, and on frequent occasion like JAFAR, tedious platforming on poorly designed levels.

Good thing the guy at Gamestop was nice enough to claim it a "return" rather than a "trade-in", since I pop in frequently, and had the receipt handy. Guess who not only preordered Okamiden, but had enough cheddar left over to put some down on Marvel VS Capcom 3.

Opinions, opinions everywhere

Edit: Now that an above poster was kind enough to show me how the game ended and ties into future games, I have no need to finish it. Thanks a bundle!

Sweet, Beast's Castle in 358/2 Days. I didn't think it would be so soon after Agrabah.
