I always assumed the reason Zelda doesn't turn into something horrible is because Zant wanted her to suffer on a deeper level than just torture or death. Since she retains her body, mind, and memories, she can see what became of Hyrule, and she knows there is absolutely nothing she can do about it. At least, until a certain wolf shows up.

And as for Zant wanting her to suffer like that, he's just some batshit insane sociopath. He does it for the lulz.

After bending my head around what Neko is trying to say, I think I get where he is coming from.

Surely Zelda should have had a mystical beast form like Link and Ganondorf, but I have no idea what that beast form would have been.

So...about Skyward Sword. I hope they make the Great Fairies LttP/Twilight Princess-ish, and not the creepy four-armed freaks from Wind Waker.

Twilight Princess fairies were too suggestive for a Zelda game.

Wind Waker great fairies were interesting-looking and I thought quite a bit more mystical/etheral looking. Not just some naked bitch.

I just realized,

What are they going to do about the Great Fairies in OoT3DS? :psyduck: Because of the improved graphics, I doubt they'll be able to keep it's N64 design.
