Plasma, one of your comments on Machineria earlier has been bugging me. Why is a lawnmower's blade attack super effective against a rock, but is not very effective against grass? Why does your lawnmower have a grass attack, anyway? It's the anti-grass.
Pokemon is weird.

Its the logic of Pokemon! In the game, floating lawnmowers don't cut grass, they magically control leaves!

The other forms of Rotom have moves that do seem like something an overpowered... whatever-it-is could do. But it breaks down when it comes to this guy. My theory is that its meant to represent leaves the lawnmower has already gathered in its basket.
And that it looks awesome.

Well, when you think about it, a lawnmower floating a few inches off the ground would be able to blow leaves around. It kind of makes sense if you look at it that way.

Kind of.

If Sun Wukong is more powerful than 5/6 of your team, why the hell don't you use it.

Besides, your last pokemon is usually a gastly or some other horrible one. Sun Wukong seriously could replace them.

And you're going to need a strong fire type for the Elite 4, and I don't think a level 20 whatever fire monkey is going to work.

Because it still sux.

By which I mean I want to be more original here than to simply stick with the starter Pokemon the whole game like nearly everyone does.

I'd prefer to keep him in the Daycare Center. That way, he does get more powerful for when I do actually need him.

Oh hey, an itemball in this mysteriously open stretch of long grass. There's no way this could possibly be a trap!

Image
Umm... can we pretend that I encountered this DevilDog somewhere else? I don't like being proven wrong.

Image
If a dog is evil, its best to put it to sleep!

If a dog is being good, its still generally a good idea to put it to sleep anyway. You never know when it'll turn evil.

And all dogs do turn evil..

Image
Y'know, as much as it sucks as an attack, I never get tired of the doubleslap animation.
SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP

Image
Aaand... wootinary! I caught me a real bitch!

And its female too!

Image
Wait... what? That's fairly... anti-dramatic. I mean, you have here a fire and dark Pokemon, who practically wears a skeleton on itself... and the Pokedex entry is just "It can sorta talk to itself". Even Cubone's was creepier than that!

Image
...so I may have been reading too much of the webcomic Sinfest.

Image
Oh c'mon, I had to fight off the devil's daughter just for a freakin' coloured shard?! Laaame!

Image
Well here's a mystery: why are you attacking me when we've only just met?!

Image
Aw man, don't you wish that move would hurt the user even when used against a ghost? That'd just be downright funny!

Image
OverpoweredAndGodly +1!

Image
AboutDamnTime +1!

Image
Alright... there's a fat man, down a hole, in a bunch of really tall grass.

That's too ridiculous to even make a joke on!

Image
OH CRAP, GET DOWN! HE'S GOT A PORYGON! Alas, poor eyes, I knew ye well!

Image
I would be too, if I didn't have a gender. I mean, should I be hitting on dudes or chicks? And does it count as gay to hit on others without genders?

Image
For something so awesome as a Porygon, it really didn't do a whole lotta damage.

Image
Aah! I am not an itemball, damnit!

Image
Oh hey, a second Yoshi! I wonder if they can lay eggs immediately like Chansey does. And if it eats them straight after too.

Chansey is messed up!

Image
InsertPhraseHere +1!

Image
A... magm... what?

Image
A box full of magma. Yes, that is what it says. A box full of magma.

Image
Take a moment off for some more healing, and we're off again!

Image
I think its about time we head on down this path. So long, fat man!

Image
Valor lakefront? Huh, I guess that lake back there really wasn't the right one.
You win this time, signpost maker!

Image
It's a... Girafarig? Wut?

Oh, I get it! It's like Ekans! If you spell its name backwards, you get... Girafarig.
Well fuck, I have no clue what that thing is supposed to be.

Image
Yeah, I don't think I'll be needing that move anytime soon.

Image
...what? What's wrong with it? It looks perfectly normal to me!

Image
OHFUK IT EXPLODED!

Image
Or... just... spontaneously turned even more girly than before! It must have gotten married or something.

Image
Yes, you already asked to teach that move, thank you very much! Geez, it's like talking to a 4th wall here!

Image
OH! FUCK! These guys follow me EVERYWHERE!

Just... just leave me alone!

Image
Y'know... I don't quite remember it ever using Softboiled on itself back when it was a Chansey.
I guess this is the start of a new era for her then...

Image
THAT IS NOT A GOOD WAY TO START A NEW ERA! God damnit, that thing should not be so tough!

Image
God fucking DAMNIT! IT NEARLY KILLED ROTOM! THAT SHOULD BE A CRIME, FOR BAJEEZUS SAKE!

Image
How... how did this happen... did I really sink so low that some common Bidoof evolution can knock me back to the Pokemon Center?
Right! From this day forward, I promise to... tooooo....
Do...
Something.

Yeaahhh!

Image
OH COME ON, FAT MAN! I went past you SEVERAL times! Why do you only challenge me now?

I mean, it was one thing when you tried to challenge me just for making eye contact, but now you're only choosing to attack me sporadically? Make up your mind, damnit!

Image
Oh wow, a Jolteon! I haven't seen one of those in YEARS! Pity for you that I have a distinct type advantage in this battle, eh?
But you've still got two more Pokemon, I'm sure you can come back up!

Image
Oh, a Vaporeon. Err... so let me get this straight: not only is PsyGuy now immune to water attacks, but he even gets HP from them? And facing a water Pokemon, no less?

What's your last guy to send out...

Image
Ah. A Predictableon.
And once again, Trace makes your Pokemon completely ineffectual at dealing any sort of damage.

I absolutely love Trace! I hope I come across a Shedinja along the way somewhere, that'd be just awesome!

Image
What, you mean Confusion? That's... one of the most basic Psychic attacks there is! What's so extraordinary about it?

Meh.

Image
Well that's it for today! Tune in tomorrow folks when Dude does other such exciting things, such as VISIT A LAKE, and WALK THROUGH LONG GRASS! It truly is a revolution in modern entertainment!

Grind your pokemon up to lvl 50, and then storm through the whole game.

The last battle of all is against a team with an average level of over 75.

So I just found this out today, after painstakingly EV-training a Rotom: IT DOESN'T KEEP ALTERNATE FORMS IN THE BATTLE FRONTIER.

Maybe you should exchange your Rotom for a Magnemite, to save yourself the pain.

Yes, it said that in the Secret Room when you got the motors.
Anyway, its not like it matters; I won't be spending loads of time in that place! It wouldn't make for a good LP, now would it?

Probably because he changed into Chargedog, remember?
