Alright, I got the game, it cost $21.something making me wish I had my computer in alpha, or at least bought it in alpha, but I have the game, and will never have to pay for another thing in it again. Now time to download the update and get to playing it, or see if people want to play minecraft with me.

I remember earlier someone brought up how the new mobs look like slenderman

then I noticed the similarity in the names

Ughghg that's going to be so annoying. I'm hoping that the mob's sensitivity to you looking at it is at least somewhat limited. It would suck to glance at a field and not even notice the Enderman and then suddenly have it on top of you attacking.

I bet it takes the same to kill it as a zombie, but then again, the combat system is changing with the update to include blocking, combat animations and critical hits. I can't wait!

As for the eye-contact sensitivity, I hope it isn't too sensitive. I bet that will be tweaked in 1.8.1 and 1.8.2. Those patches will most likely be live about 10 minutes from each other.

Maybe it's their weapon or something? Although I don't possibly see how a regular old cube could be efficient in combat.

No, because pistons can only push up to 16 blocks. Now if you want to use an airship as an actual ship you should check THIS out (Fun fact: The creator is an irl friend of mine!)
