I played the demo and wow I need this game. I need to start saving hella cheddar.

Donnell? Do not diss Donnell, dude is great.

Donnel is basically one of the trainees from Sacred Stones, or a Magikarp if you're not familiar with the former. Difficult to level, but if you have the patience to do so, you'll wind up with a badass.
Also, he's freaking adorable. Seriously, look at him.

If you don't plan on grinding risen, Donnel is useless and the love between him and Nowi will fade out of existence, never to be heard of again.
If you do plan on grinding risen, say hello to the best merc>hero in the game I've seen.

I've already got Stahl/Panne (food based romance), Fred/Lissa (Fred is her stat stick), Mu/Tharja (because Tharja), Donnel/Nowi (manakete baby with villager stat boost? Yes.), Chrom and Sumia (Galeforce), and I think I've dumped every other woman in the back to never see the light of day again. I was planning on Gaius/Olivia but OH NO A REINFORCEMENT OLIVIA WHY!?



When I was raising her, she got 5-7 stats every level and tanked every wyvern rider in that cliff level with an iron lance and fred as a stat stick.

Wyvern riders > peg knights. All day, everyday.

Also Nowi is pretty good. Nah is even better. Also, if you really don't like Nowi or Panne being their transform-y selves, you can class change them with the second seals.

There are quite a few unique classes in this game and I like it
