Old Hyrule refers to the LOZ AOL Hyrule (which I posted two pages back).

New Hyrule is the MC, OoT, LttP, TP, FSA. They are all slightly different but I think they have enough geographic similarities that they can be deemed the "same" Hyrule.

Anyway, I think Old Hyrule (LoZ AoL, the Hyrule from the nes era) should make a comeback. It has a lot to offer.
New Hyrule: home of the magical moving Kakariko village.

EDIT: It's almost like they pack the whole town up on a train in between games and send it away. That was a close one; almost made a post without a train pun.

Well that would be at least Plausible. I still don't understand how Lake Hylia went from NE (in MC Hyrule) to SW under the desert (in OoT Hyrule) then to SE (in LttP Hyrule), then due East (in FSA) then back SW.

The mountains also tend to shift some but not as often.

Well, what would be the point of that when they already have an old new Hyrule?

It gives me hope that they may be using the same Hyrule from the first two LOZ games.

This would be strange thinking over Hyrule being flooded. UNDERWATER TRAIN?!?!?!?!

Ha! Trains underwater! That would never happen:

MIND = BLOWN!

In One Piece, there's a train that rides on TOP of the water!

Oh, and brown and green. Like I said, I think they're still meant to be green because if it was a highlight then it would have been white, right?

Hyrule is always different. The games aren't coherent at all, because that would be boring. Get over it.

Well I like that they're always somewhat different because it does make it more interesting.
I'm just saying that there are enough similarities that they can be deemed the same Hyrule rather than two different lands.

Don't be so sure. There HAVE been Legend of Zelda games that DIDN'T feature any Hyrule to speak of...
