I usually tidy up the display as well, or at least put them on the proper hooks.

It's probably not the employees. The ones at Target are usually pretty well organized, but Walmart's are sometimes on the wrong hooks behind others, I think people are just trying to hide them for later

Its a collection trick. Hide the ones you want and come back later to buy em. Check top shelfs in the toy section found some hiding behind legos

I wouldn't be surprised if one day I was searching around walmart and I find a decently rare Amiibo hiding in the hardware section. I will sing my song of triumph and punish the superstore sinner for getting employees in trouble with stock. (This is a thing, who do ya think is accountable for losing valuable stock?).

Megaman is a bitch to find in my area so hopefully I get one for Easter, I love that lil' robot for Megaman 9 alone.

There's all sorts of dirty tricks toy collectors use and i've always felt like they're really scummy for it. Like, at a certain point you're straight up stealing from children and actively giving employees a harder time.
Not really directed at anyone here, but yeah.

Nintendo is having a Direct April 1st.

It's about the Wii U and 3DS games but we could get some news regarding Wave 4 in North America.

"We are planning on releasing the Newer Nintendo 3DSi XL+ with changable button and layout design. It will be able to play Nintendo 64 games."

This reminds of an idea I had before I understood the concept of hardware limitations. It was basically a console that could play games from every other console ever created. There were a lot of slots on it.

That's a thing that exists. It plays NES, SNES, and Genesis games.

Is it a legal product, though? I know it's not emulation because it uses glop-top system-on-a-chip for running the games, but I'd still expect there's some kind of legal issue.

Well it's sold in stores so I can only assume that, if there is a legal issue, it's not a huge one. Either way I guess my poibt was just that it does indeed exist haha

That bizarre contraption reminds me of how I was thoroughly convinced that the one Sonic game with the cartridge slot on top of it was a special cartridge that could mix any other Sega game with Sonic the Hedgehog for a new game.

How disappointed I was.

That was another feature of my imaginary console, which I named the Sphere. You could combine any 2 Sphere games together. Yes, this thing could run games from over 30 different consoles, and it had its own games. In case you were wondering, Sphere games weren't discs, they were cartridges. The cartridges were shaped like L-blocks from Tetris. I'm not even kidding.

Little funfact, this was made by StupidFingers, who also created the Nintoaster you see in The Angry Video Game Nerd.

In other news, I can't wait to see some amiibo news if we actually get any.
