HAY GAIZ, GUESS WUT? This is an Ocarina of Time discussion. Not a 'Let's all discuss Water's gender' discussion. Take that to the other forum if you wanna discuss that, okay? I feel like such a mod now...

BUT SRSLY.

... So, uhm, does anybody else ever do the water temple before the fire temple? I always do.

The Water Temple almost ruined the experience for me.

GOD DAMMIT.

Why is it that the water temple always sucks so hard?
OoT, Master Quest AND Twilight Princess.

The Water Temple in Twilight Princess wasn't that bad. At least not as bad as the one in OoT.

i believe my first time through i did the water temple first. after that, it was fire temple first, every time. the heart container from the fire temple came in handy when fighting dark link. that boss was an a-hole.

The water temple was always my favorite second to the spirit temple.

The water temple in TP ended up pissing me off a lot just because I never thought to look at the ceiling and find out the way to get across a gap or something was to shoot down a stalagemite. If I had thought of that, it'd probably be one of my favourites because it was beautiful designed and imaginative.

The water temple in OoT... I think I only like it because I always watched my brother struggle with it so much, that I just memorized how to do it. And that way it was always easy for me.

Am I one of the only people who finds Dark Link unbareably easy? I would always just hack at his ankles. He'd hit me once, but I'd have already hit him like 5 times. I can generally kill him in two bits of attacking because I am a seriously fast button masher.

I've never tried fighting him with the hammer. I've tried with deku nuts and din's fire; deku nuts didn't work so well... Din's fire did, but I just prefer button mashing because it doesn't use up my magic power.

OH, I THOUGHT OF ONE THING IN THE WATER TEMPLE I LOATHE. That long river littered with whirlpools. That thing was a BITCH.

LOL WATER TEMPLE MEMORIES
I remember it like it was yesterday...
-whacked on head- It was THREE days ago y'moron!

Now that I look back, I realize it really wasn't that hard. But... but the boss was waaay too easy. As for Dark Link, whenever pulled out that muddafudging hammer, it didn't work. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. So I just used Din's Fire, and just as I ran out of magic, they all were dead. How simple...

the first time, i used the hammer. worked like a charm.

after that, (i had an emulator, so i could reload whenever i wanted) i uses the surprise sword spin attack, which worked. then i battled him straight up, which took forever, then i used dins fire, which was fun :) then i used dins fire in combo with deku nuts, but that isnt as fun, or as useful, as it sounds.

after that, i got bored and moved on... :D

god, my head hurts, stupid Well...

Thurman was over and he was watching me play, and I had no idea what to do with the ReDead-looking thing at the Bottom of the Well! I went to the bathroom and he decided to help, and just as I walked downstairs and started watching him try to help, he walked through the mirage-wall.

At first I thought it was a glitch, but then I realized it was real... Then the giant Green Bubble came. We both yelled 'WHAT THE HELL WAS HAT!?' then started running around. After a while, I started playing again, and I fell through another mirage, a hole in the ground. We were wondering whether the ReDead was back, and then I ran past it cuz it looked like a rock, and it screeched, and both Thurman and I screeched with it. Link made it to the ladder before he froze, and the ReDead left us alone. BUT MY GOD, WE SCREAMED SO MUCH I HAVE A HEADACHE.

This is just training for the Shadow Temple, I'll bet! and I still haven't finished this mini-dungeon.

I... I refused to touch the corpse in the very beginning, I just refused to. I thought it would turn into a ReDead and suck the life out of Link, ftw.

-sucks on pinky finger-

Aye, the well is nothing but mirages. The point is to get the eye of truth, so you can see them. Be warned, there are nothing but holes in the ground and fake walls all over the place.

As for getting the eye... I don't know where you are currently, so I can't really give directions. That and it's been awhile. Basically just avoid walking straight through rooms; keep to the edges, and if you ever see a chest, you can bet you can't run straight to it because there's a hole right infront of it. You have to fight a mini boss to get the lense. Luckily for you he doesn't scream, but he's just... a creeper.

He has these hands that keep you in place so he can rape you.

'Tis true.

I wanna see what my other friend Tori does when I go back to the Bottom of the Well. Hahaha... I'm so gonna try to scare her...

By deliberately falling into a hole full of ReDeads, and then yelling, SUN'S SONG, SUN'S SONG, so she thinks me crazy, and then I have to explain to her that Sun's Song freezes them in place so I can ruuuuun.

and then maybe I'll get to the Dead Hand, and I won't tell her that this part is coming up, and I'll tell her to close her eyes and then I'll tell her to open them right when Link gets caught by Dead Hand.

Just... just for shits and giggles...
