Y'know, it's funny --
The most a game has ever startled me was during FarCry.
My friend was watching me play so his constant commentary kept me slightly distracted. Being slightly distracted it made hidden enemies a bit more unsettling when encountered.
But anyways ! So I was at an area pretty much soley consisting of giant apes with rocket launchers fused into their arms, when it happened. I was cautiously tracking along when I heard this from my friend "hey, what happened to the one to the left", in which I replied "what guy to the left". As soon as I turned my camera it was right in my face, we both screamed.. fairly amusing.

oh god. My friend just recently forced me to play this game. It was SO much fun and I loved it, but the trigens kept coming at me from behind and I'd yelp each time.

WHAT. WHAT. WHAT???

That's my favourite Zelda game! I like it better than OoT! Have I not posted that anywhere already? Seriously. I kicked my brother in the balls when I was little because he refused to get it. He had heard it sucked from our cousin, but I still wanted to play it.

I'm going through it again right now actually. In two days, I already made it to Stone Tower, and I nearly have all the heart pieces. I have played this game way too much and have memorized everything. 8D;;

The scariest game I ever played was probably that remake of Resident Evil for the Gamecube. Atleast, I think that's what it was...

My brother bought the game, but I was the one with the Gamecube. I would watch him play, and just that scared me. But at one point, he had to go make dinner and he shoved the controller into my hand and said "Just don't die." I think I actually survived, but I must have just kept screaming the whole time. I'm a sissy. ("What was that noise?! OH GOD. THE WIND. AHHHHHHHHHHH!")

Gyorg was a piece of cake for me. Maybe it's because I procrastinated for bodaciously six or so years before playing that dungeon, and had an unusually high number of hearts. But either way, getting eaten by the fish didn't really freak me out, so I just threw boomerangs at it to stun it, then dove and didn't stop atttacking until it got me back. xD

Ikana Canyon was much scarier. I mean, everything's dead, you're on constant assail from those goddamn crows and blue skulls, and finally, when you're in the well with the Gidbos, OUT COME THE WALLMASTERS SDFDLSKDJFLK

Wow, Majora's Mask scared some of you guys too?

I don't feel so alone any more.

Also: I never actually beat it D= Does it ever explain why the moon has that scary face?

Anyone who just said Majora's Mask is a good game (doesn't matter if you were scared or not, but I guess that just makes it better) is awesome.

EDIT OH MY GOODNESS I JUST HAD A SUDDEN FLASHBACK THAT I ALMOST rustled MYSELF WHEN YOU TURNED THAT ILKANA OR WHATEVER IT'S CALLED PLACE UPSIDE DOWN AND THE MUSIC WAS SCARY.

I was the most traumatised eight year old. Ever.

Yay, I don't feel so alone either! I'm terrified of Gyorg still too. Like, still... when I faught him again, I still scream everytime. I guess I'm just scared of him because of him eating me... Everytime he would, I'd be JUST about to make it back onto the platform, and then he comes out of nowhere from behind me and eats me. daisies giant fish...

Ilkana didn't bug me so much. When I went there, I already had my stone mask, so nothing attacked me. Although I did hate going through the well... "LEEEAVE IT! LEAAAVVEE ITTTTT!" Greedy gibdos are scary, no matter what anybody says.

I think the scariest thing is Majora's Mask though, is Link's clones's face when you play the Elegy of Emptiness. Why the frick does he look like a asian pedophile man?! All the other clones just have the white eyes and stuff, but no. Link has to look like he's going to rape you when you go to sleep.

Dudes... we should just make a Majora's Mask topic. I bet we'd have all kinds of wacky conversations. :awesome:

Gyorg wasn't scary.

The gibidos made me piss myself.Hypothetically, of course. But the bandages made them less nightmare-inducing.
Liek, seriously, nightmares. I never thought anything about the ReDeads being... sexual until influence of the internet. Their freezing stare and their screaming-ness made me scream and yeah. It calmed me down with the Gibidos, though, when they were dancing xD

BUT THE SCARIEST THING EVER
IN ANY ZELDA GAME
IS

THE pop flyin' MASK SASLEMAN

Ohmy goodness... I promised myself I would never talk to smiley men with masks. Did it scare anyone else when he said, "I've been following you!" and "I know alot about you!"

Or something along those lines.
AND LINK IS LIKE TEN
