I finally got to play Catherine~

And I'm playing on easy like a puss. Will go to normal once I get though the game once.

easy mode, I couldn't disrespect my game by playing on easy, it would ruin the game forever! but normal is more like hard mode on most other games.

Well...I could have said to was playing on super easy. I'm not that big of a puss.

Edit: Finished the game and it was amazing. My ending, just amazing. Now for another run on hard mode(never finishing this i bet) so i will probably do normal mode.

So I looked at my playtime when I finished, I was surprised. Every review I have read or site I have seen information on this game says that the best players can beat this game in 15 hours while most people beat it in 20. I beat it in about 12.5 hours, so either the reviewers and sites are all bad at games like this, or I happen to bee good at difficult puzzle games. My guess is a little mix of both.
I found the game getting more and more difficult, then around half way through it started getting easier with a few tough stages thrown in, that is until the end. The end was not to bad, but It was a little difficult, took me 5 life's to beat it I think, maybe 6. Now I am replaying the game to get another ending, basically pure Catherine, since my last ending turned out to be near pure Katherine. I also am taking this game on for its second most difficult thing to do in story mode, get gold in all stages on normal. I want the babel to be full. Also I will eventualy do a hard game, probably next, but since it doesn't have an undo I think it will be a death filled nightmare

It's more of a joke than anything else, we all know what it is called. Not to be edgy or anything like that, just cause we can and there is no problem with it.

I plan on getting this game regardless, but what exactly qualifies it to be referred to as an "erotic puzzle horror" or whatever it was the dev team called it..?

Catherine tends to dress as a woman who enjoys your physical company would, while sex scenes always happen off screen and you hear nothing, you do see her in the mood waiting for you. In lingerie attempting to get you in the mood.

The puzzles take place in between all your dealings with Catherine and the dreams are where the horror takes place. Strange creatures such as giant hands with giant forks attempt to stab you as you try to escape. The horror comes from being so easy to kill and the fact that you will die very often.

The game is an adult-oriented game, that doesn't mean it has to be porn. The real appeal of this game is not the puzzles, but the relationships you have with not only the Catherines, but also your drinking buddies at the bar and even complete strangers you meet there. The things you tell them decide whether or not they'll live to see the next day.
