And it's DONE.

We are recording like crazy, the first few episodes have been edited together, and the results are looking fantastic.

How are the scripts coming?

That's okay, guys...there have been developments.

We've decided that, due to the massive size of the project, we aren't going to do the whole thing this summer. As is, it takes him 8 hours to edit together a single half-hour episode, so he's going to release one a week starting soon.

This summer, we're recording only the first game. We record the second over Christmas and Thanksgiving break, and the third game (as well as Apollo Justice) will be done next summer. So we don't need the scripts until Christmas Break; and Stolen, not until next summer.

In recording news, today we got a lot done. The first two cases are now complete, and there is one testimony left in the third case. The fourth and fifth cases have a bit more left, but we will finish recording this weekend. Behind-the-scenes footage and bloopers are going to be released soon, in the time leading up to the series launch.

tl;dr, we're almost done with the first game, and don't feel too bad guys.

Here's the question, though; do you want to start again and transcribe the games over the next few months, or have someone else do it?

I'm sorry, Crispy :( hope a fairly cheap solution pops up for you...anyway, I can probably transcribe it myself if need be, or I can find someone else, no worries. We have a few months now.

Anyway, last night we had our cast party, and premiered the first episode. There were a few moments where I thought "Ah, yeah, that line could have come out better". I play Payne, and I stretched out my words a bit TOO much...the episodes will be uploaded to YouTube starting mid-August, so he has more time to get a few episodes edited for backup, then they'll be coming out every Friday.

Great work! Phoenix, Mia, Payne and Sahwit all sound great, Payne and Sahwit specifically. Larry and the Judge though... Their voices don't really seem to fit the characters.

Hey, that sounds pretty good indeed. A few things I didn't like (Butz, the Judge, the voices being cut or overlapping sometimes), but overall it was very very nice. Keep it up!

I think the Judge's voice would fit his brother better.

Hooray! I am Payne, Sahwit is the guy that I do most of my sketch comedy work with...unfortunately, he doesn't have any large parts, though he has more single-case parts. He and I make up half the circus in Big Top (I play Ben, Trilo, and Max Galactica, whereas he plays Moe). His other characters are Turner Grey and Director Hotti. Then I play Richard Wellington and Jean Armstrong.

Now, if we do Apollo Justice, which it's looking like we will since all the scripts are already made, I'm precast as Apollo and he's precast as Klavier AND Kristoph Gavin, assuming he can make them sound different enough. Since none of his characters use his normal voice, we think he'll be able to do both brothers. He's definitely one of the best readers we have, which is why I pushed for him as the Gavins, he really makes the words come alive and never sounds like he's just saying words.

I'm glad you guys liked it :D We were really hoping all the work would result in a better dub than what's been put out so far. I believe it has. And hopefully as we get more used to the editing process and the actors gets more used to reading, the quality will improve in the second and third games.

New episode next Friday. Should I post them here, or would that be irritating?

Whoever is doing Phoenix's voice can't record any of his lines from Case 3-4 until he gets sick.

It's already in the contract 8)

Second Episode is up! Lots of new characters and voice actors, including Maya, Gumshoe, and Grossberg!

Another good episode Stu, though again, I have a few minor gripes with the voices.

This isn't so much a gripe as an observation, but do Maya and Mia have the same VA? It kinda sounds like.
Gumshoe doesn't sound dopey enough, he seems too... Hard? Rough?
April May sounded almost too sexy, I believe she needs to sound cuter.
Grossberg was pretty good, but like the judge, he didn't sound nearly old enough.

Of course, these are just my opinions. It was still a good episode, and I'm looking forward to the next one!

He played Gumshoe harder while he's still hostile towards you; once you befriend him, he gets more lovable.

The Fey sisters actually don't have the same VA, but we didn't notice how similar they sounded until they were uploaded, lol.

April...I can see what you mean. We got more of a seductress than a valley girl, which is what we were hoping for. I still think it works fairly well though.

Maybe we should have tried to use more adults...we did get one for Bikini. But that's not for a long time.

I'm excited; the first episode of each case is the name of the case, but after that we came up with titles, and though I think most of them are funny I forgot what they are. He wouldn't let me call Adrian Andrews' suicide "Pinata pinata!"
