back to gameplay jim, we were playing for about 2 hours after our previous "actual" save, doin pretty fine i might add just started on the helios power plant after finishin the "they went thata way " quest and RANDOM CRASH OCCURED!

since then it hasnt crashed yet but hold on theres more! apparntly i am now the proud owner of an invisible 10mm handgun! or IS it invisible? every now and then i seem to see a random tiny object moving around on my screen that reloads and everything whenever i reload my invisible gun!

BREAKING NEWS! being quite annoyed at such an inivisible gun, i discarded most of them. but in my foray into the vault 34, i was running shot on viable weapons and turned to using my 10mm submachine gun BUT ACCIDENTLY CLICKED ON THE PISTOL! this was an honest mistake but the game did not care, for i was teleported my viewers! to OUTSIDE OF THE WORLD! i was gazing down upon the area of vault 34 and falling as well! apparntly my misery was also spread to my companions, for they were teleporting too! luckly for us an auto save was bodaciously done seconds ago and the crisis was averted!

I have never really seen the appeal of Fallout. I love Oblivion, but Fallout is (a) too depressing. (b) is really complicated. I have no idea about how radiation and stuff works. (c) I can find no way to get caps, because I have run out of ammo for my laser gun thing and I cant find any quests that I can complete without ammo (I basically just got out of the vault, so Im still at the beginning).

But you care enough to tell everybody you know better then he does, apparently. Good work.

Bro, there is only room for one ever-so-subtly elitist gamer here, and it is me. It's pretty much "good for what it is"

Also That Gun pisses me off, it would be better if they changed the name to "Blade Runner Pistol" or something but That Gun is just kind of a dumb name.

the developers said they called it that because people used to always refer to it as "That Gun from Fallout 1 and 2"
also its my favourite pistol because i have a lot of ammo for it, its damage isnt bad and it just looks cool

Currently have Boone and ED-E as companions, trying to do all the Kings missions since i can probably have his robot dog then

boone and ede are beast, their perks just go together like a fat kid and cake

i wont say much about the vaults in this game, except that each one was fucking badass in its own way and even had little twists per "story" of the vault

this game, even tho it looks like a prettied up fall out 3 expansion, is so much more with the story. thank you obsidian.

[spoiler]i killed Benny, and now theres this big thing about taking over Vegas and Mr House and Yes Man and all that, ill probably ignore it and explore for a while, the whole talking thing is cool and all but something like "find and talk to like 7 different factions" takes the micky a little[/spoiler]
Also the companions ive found recently are Boone, ED-E, Rex the robodog and Lily
and i can only have one human and one not human companion
which should i choose
keep in mind that Lily is a huge Nightkin who acts like an elderly grandma

My current companions are Rex and Cass.

I'd still have Veronica since she kills most things in one hit, but she glitches after you do her quest and refuses to move.

yeah the quest got too many branches as it gets to the end
