It's a novel idea, but the fact that the enemies still move, plus the pieces are random, and the screen moving, makes it way too tough to take that first block down before you die.

Wait, too hard to take the first block down? You mean, tetris block? You do know you can speed it up by pressing Down, right?

I know that, I'm not an idiot. That doesn't stop the screen scrolling so fast that it shoves Mario into the wall, nor does it stop me getting absolutely NO straight pieces whatsoever.

If the wall were constructed better, IE Easier to fill with more tetris pieces, it'd be a better game. But as it is, you're fucked if you don't get a straight piece ASAP.

I agree I cannot seem to figure one puzzle out and the "Help me" link makes no sense at all.

Explain to me what the levels you are stuck on are like and I could probably tell you the solution.

Okay, the level is rectangular. A green force-field is bridging a gap in the middle of the level. The door is at the end of the level, but it's suspended in the air, and it's too high to reach by just jumping.

I figure I need to make a little stack of clones underneath it so I can climb up to the door, but here's the thing: The gap is too wide to jump. Which is no issue for me since I can walk over, but the clones can't.

It's like there's no logical way to get them across safely.

Balance the clones on your head and walk across it.

There are two levels like that.
You have to just keep running left and pressing jump until there are enough clones for you to get across on
This is the level where you have to have the clone hit the switch or whatever, because they fall down but you don't.

No, the clones have to ride you across, if you did it right you can have the clone jump up and do whatever it needs to do.

Why don't you have the clone do the jumping for you

Do what I said.

Tried. Works for a max of two. I need more.

By the way, there's no switch or anything. Only a gap, a green forcefield bridging it, and a door halfway up the wall.

Here's what you do:

Balance as many clones as you can and bring them to the other side. When you make the clones, have so that, after 6 seconds or so, they start jumping madly for a little while. Try to time it so that they would start jumping madly when they are under the door. Then, you start jumping madly when they start jumping madly, and (if you did it correctly), you should be able to jump on the jumping clones to make it to the door.

Alright then, so... you just didn't know that Mario can jump?

He can't jump over a wall that high.

You're screwed without a straight piece :T
