I just beat Prime with 100% scans and items. Admiral Dane got censored in Corruption. Seriously. Why the fuck would you censor "damn" of all words? Everyone fucking uses it.

I never managed to get all the scans... on my second play through, I got so into Ridley's boss fight ('cuz the guy's a bastard, and he's just plain fun to fight) that I forgot to scan him. I then saved inside the crater right afterwards.

about 5 seconds after I saved:

"FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

Personally, the wii controls make any shooter feel really awesome. I own call of duty 5 along with prime 3, both of just feel so much better than a controller once you get used to it. It's similar to using a mouse.

And, if you don't like the hyper difficulty, just don't play on it. Attempting to convince someone that you are right over the internet is futile. It's just not going to happen, no matter what you're arguing about. I'm surprised that no one's figured it out...

...is it really worth getting? It just looks the same, except with a (RNFB prepare a new pair of undies, cause you're going to shit yourself with anger) extremely improved control scheme. I remember reading somewhere that the graphics haven't even been updated.

But if it really is as good as you're making it out to be, I might just get it. But I might just get it anyway, just to play Metroid Prime 2 again, seeing as the disc broke.

...Well, I almost NEVER agree with RNF, but I thought it was pretty much common knowledge that you should never get a multiplatform game for the Wii. They are always gimped (if that's the right word), unless they were made for the Wii and then ported to other systems.

They updated the textures in Prime and Echoes in a few areas with increased resolution, and they added bloom lighting to them, as well. It's not as noticeable as Corruption's, but it's present.

Cool. I might just get it then. Does it let you replay the game with all your scans intact, like in corruption? It sure makes 100% easier.

Yeah, it does. The downside is that Corruption's save file is incompatible with Trilogy, so you have to start over again from scratch.

That's a bummer. But it wasn't unexpected. So it's cool.

Bloom? BLOOM!? Why the fuck would Nintendo ruin 1 and 2 by adding BLOOM!? Bloom is a horrible effect and only serves to make it hard to see things and make you go BLIND. It is disgusting



It's not just because of the Wiimote. Do you know how much content is removed from the Wii version of CoD:WaW? TONS. The graphics are gross and the multiplayer is just atrocious.

It's only present in areas with extreme light sources. The Charge Beam effects also generate it. It makes the lighting more realistic by accentuating it, not coating everything in it ala Corruption or Twilight Princess.
