Rabid loves Mega Man so much, he actually respects Command Mission, a game that is a sequel to the nth power, is polygonal, and is an RPG. He even said he wouldn't mind a sequel. What?

I just dug up my 'MMX: Command Mission' GC disc and started playing it from the very beginning - maybe I'll actually manage to beat 'Mach Jentra' this time (must remember to stock up on 'Ice Parts').

There's nothing wrong with it as a game - it's not so much polygonal as it is 'cel-shaded'. I'm actually quite impressed with it so far (haven't played it for at least two years - the graphics are still pretty slick).

Fun Mega Man 2 fact: Normal mode is actually easy mode, while difficult mode is normal mode. The Japanese version of the game didn't have a difficulty choice, it only came with difficult mode. Capcom thought Mega Man 2 would be too hard for us non-Japanese people, so they added in "normal" mode which makes things a hell of a lot easier, but still giving us the regular game under "difficult". Everything has half health on normal mode.

Including Mega Man himself?

I do like the origional Megaman games but my favorite has to be the first Megaman Legends for the N64.
Its probably just the Nostalgia factor.
And Juno was awesome.

WHAT THE HELL MAN? LEGENDS IS FUCKING AWESOME

Why do you hate it?
Because it is a sucky 3D spinoff with no real MegaMan characters and weapons you have to make instead of gaining.

In short; Spinoff. No Wily, Bass, ProtoMan, or GutsMan. Weapon creation.

Megaman went down hill with the battle network series.
Seriously what the hell were they thinking.

Battle Network is just a spinoff, same with Star Force. It's easy to ignore the games, they don't bring the quality of the real games down.

Now X7, X8, powered up, and Maverick Hunter X.. THOSE would be the downfall of the real Mega Man games, but MM9 made things all better.
What they were thinking at first is "Look at the re-designs I made for the robot masters! Now how are we going to make cheddar and show the world these at the same time? ... Make another spinoff game!"

Also. Agree about X7/8, PU, and MHX.

Go play it, now. You're missing out. Mega Man 1 to 9 and X to X6.
Excluding X4 except for the fight against Magma Dragoon.

Hey RNFB I want your oppinion about the Shadow Armor from X6. Yay or nay?

Also. Did you get the chance to play Battle Networks four, five and six? Because there is something special in those that makes them better.

The weapon creation was one of the things I liked most about it, along with the buster enhancements. How would you feel about the game if it didn't use any Mega Man stuff?

Shadow Armor is one of my favorites, looks cool and kicks booty.

I've played EVERY Mega Man game in existence. BN 4, 5, and 6 were BAD, whats so special that makes them better?

I thought the entire internet was in general agreement that Mega Man Battle Network 4 was terrible. I never played it, just 5 and 6. Of those two, I like 5 more.

CONRLATULATIONS!!

I didn't really mind Command Mission. Wasn't the best, but it could've been a hell of a lot worse.

Personally, I've always liked both the classic series and the X series more than the others. Though I did love MM Legends. The Zero games were good, if not relentlessly difficult at times. Or maybe I just suck...

The Battle Network and other games like that just don't appeal to me.

I ask because I made lots of SNES version Shadow Armor sprites.

BN 4/5/6 were better because they had a cross over with Hideo Kojima's Boktai series. If you didn't play those Konami games then you didn't play every last MegaMan game. Nya nya!

One of the main reasons MMZero games are hard is because of the shitty screen resolution, your dude takes up a looot of the screen. You don't get much time to see whats coming at you, so you need to memorize a lot more of the game than you do in Classic or X. The resolution in ZX wasn't that bad.

What does me not having played non-Mega Man games have to do with me having played every Mega Man game? Explain in more detail.
