Well, I don't have a Wii but when I'm Brawling at my friend's place, she's kind enough to let me use the GC controller because I'm a spaz with the wiimote and have the potential to accidentally launch it at her dog. Or her mom. Or her window. Or her.

I used the classic control when I couldn't find my third GameCube controller when my cousins visited last week.

It's funny how in the case of some of the Wii's best games, Super smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and Twilight Princess*, the Gamecube controller works better than the Wii remote. Okay, that's not terribly funny. What is funny is that the Gamecube controller was considered the least intuitive controller from the previous generation (that is, after XBox got their shit together and made a smaller version of their controller). So what does that say about the Wii remote?

*The Gamecube version of Twilight Princess is usually regarded as better than the Wii version. This implies that the Gamecube controller works better for this game. Either that, or people just freak the fuck out when Death Mountain is to the east of Hyrule Castle.

No your not, there's two votes for it, so there's someone else here that uses it, too.

And now there's three votes for wiimote!

I use wiimote. I don't know why, but I do fine with it.

I haven't tried the classic controller, but I can actually use all the other controllers no problem.

I just prefer the wiimote.

Frig, I want a Wavebird. daisies cord. When I play Brawl, I have to sit on the floor to be close enough to the Wii, and I have to stretch my neck up to see the TV screen. It sucks.

Wavebird's left stick goes out too easily compared to the wired ones though. I didn't use it much because of that.

I use the GameCube controller. Easily the best set-up for competitive play.

People have been playing Super Smash games competitively for a long time, but I still think it's funny. What's wrong with me?

It's funny if people take it seriously.

Final Destination. No items. Fox only.

We also happen to be generally better at the game than casual players. Besides, the entire point of the game is to win over your opponents. Why not take it a step further?
