Without having even made it to the first trial yet, I think I've resigned myself to the fact that Kirigiri will probably end up being my favorite character.

I don't actually know for certain.
He has the same name but I accidentally stumbled on some SDR2 spoilers that imply that maybe Togami and Twogami are separate people.
Also, with the first trial of SDR2:
I feel like the culprit's motive was explained too late in the game, as a last-ditch attempt to get the player to like him. Maybe if Oren had spent some free time with him before the murder then we would have gotten some backstory, but as things stand right now his motive sort of came out of nowhere.

It'd probably be for the best. After all, if you're talking about the "third trial" and mention that you're suspicious of Mario, then people know that Mario's survived to the third trial, or to look out for Mario being weird during the third chapter, and might make them overlook other options.

Yeah in the first trial the given motive was a bit weird. Wish they'd have stuck with the initial one to stop the one who actually wanted to murder. The execution was actually thematically appropriate for once though.

Edit: Fuck, they put the paywall up. Dammit.

The paywall will hopefully go down within a week or two. I saw some people in the thread speculating about requesting to make the paywall on the LPs PERMANENT, but I'm really hoping they don't do that.
SomethingAwful is a stupid cheddar-grubbing website and I don't care if their excuse is 'server costs', they're nasty to their userbase and even after you buy an account you have to pay extra to view the entire site (yeah, base membership doesn't allow you to view certain archived threads, or even change your avatar).

If cheddar was an issue then they should host ads on the site instead of shaking out the pocket change of people who just want to read a thread.
