Super Street Fighter 4 3DS works quite well, despite the whole "BUT FIGHTERS DUN WURK ON HANDHELDS" stigma. I'm having fun with it despite not being able to online just yet. The 3D hurts the eyes at first but you sorta get used to it.

its so sleek.

Woah! Look at you, Walmart! Doing trade-ins like the other guys. Aren't you cool?

Just like with everywhere else, the Nintendo 3DS will be on sale at Walmart on March 27th. You expected that. But what you probably didn't expect is that some Walmart locations will accept your DS as a trade-in. You can get up to $100 credit toward your new 3DS with a trade-in. This offer is available in Walmart stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina. Dirty South!

The fine print says that they'll evaluate your system and determine credit. The type of DS model will determine how much you'll get back. What's neat is that they'll accept up to two DS systems for up to $200 credit. All you need to do is take your system to the Electronics department of your Walmart store.

This deal will run from March 27th through April 30th.

Derp. So I got mine. 3D looks really nice, best effect for me is at slightly under half power. Internet browser and a few other features are going to be included in a system update soon :/
Normal DS game graphics look a bit blurry.

Oh god, cannot wait until sunday.

I am picking up my reserved copy at Gamestop along with Street Fighter.

Also, anyone experiencing blurry regular DS game quality should watch this.

I'll be trading my DSlite in on Sunday when I go to pick mine up, read up about how to fix DS games getting blurry (just need to hold start and select while booting up a DS game to reduce it to normal resolution).

Still not sure about what launch games to get, maybe Street Fighter, Rayman and something else.

Did the resolution thing. Now it isn't blurry anymore but about half the screen is empty and that is somehow bothering me. So I'll probably just play it in blurry.

Did anyone try the augmented reality feature yet? I've seen a few videos and it looks really neat.

Just got back from reserving a black one at GameStop, but unfortunately I won't have enough cheddar for a game for another week. Just like when I got my Nintendo DS in early 2005, haha.

I am sad.

I highly doubt she is being a "bitch".

What exactly did she say? Depends on what you said, really.

Saying "Hey mom can I have $250" wouldn't get an "oh sure honey", now would it?
But if you have the $250 and you don't need to save it for anything, then I don't see why you couldn't get it.

I said "Hey mom, can I talk with my grandfather about getting the 3DS this week? I could use that cheddar I've saved in my bank account from my summer job? I mean, he helped me get the last one, and I figured he'd be pop flyin' to help get the newest one." And I got a flat out "Nope."

I have 120 or more in my bank account right now, and I was saving it for something awesome, like this.

We did the same thing with my laptop, I get half the amount it costs, and he doubles it so I can get it. Because my grandfather is great and I love him

He got me my DS, my laptop, and a butt ton of games for PS2, Xbox, DS, and pc. I'm sure he'd be pop flyin' to help me out, but my mom is just like "No, you're not asking him. Tough shit."
