See, earlier we had people saying your experience is ruined if you watched a full playthrough before playing the game. And I relate to these people, because I usually enjoy games as blind as can be. This way, I experience everything about the game, first hand.
When people play the game with a playthrough or guide in mind, for their first run, I have no idea what happens in their minds. This holds especially true for a game like Undertale.

Most importantly, playing with background knowledge, is something that you can do anytime, but a blind 1st hand experience, is something that can only happen one.

The soundcloud file was the original upload by the original creator, the video is made by a different person, that was the point, kindly dull your ever-so-sharp wits

I missed Vegetoid completely. Killed everything else I encountered although there are apparently 2 monster types around Snowdin I never knew existed

If memory serves me correctly you don't have to kill vegetoid in a genocide run and he actually won't even spawn in if you've already cleared all the monsters.

Monster types in generally don't matter a thing, you could technically just grind and keep encountering just one monster type and still kill enough monsters to get Genocide.
