HEY. YOU. YOU'VE PROBABLY BEEN WONDERING, WHY IS 1.8 TAKING SO LONG? WHY IS IT CALLED AN ADVENTURE UPDATE? WHAT ELSE IS GOING TO BE IN THIS "AMAZING UPDATE?"

CHECK IT. VILLAGES, ANCIENT RUINS, AND GIANT MUSHROOMS.

ALSO, RAVINES. WOAH MAN.

SO, YEAH. SHIT'S GOING TO BE A BIG MOTHERFUCKING UPDATE.

Just quoting it so it isn't bottom paged and no one feels like going back a page because they are lazy butts.

I'm thinking what the uses of giant mushrooms would be...

Maybe, you can use the collected meat of the mushrooms to make certain things. Like, with the red ones, you could grind up the meat of it, and make it into a poison of sorts. And Brown Mushroom meat would be a food source. The stalks, I'm not sure. I'm also thinking that both of them will either drop mushroom spores or the smaller mushrooms themselves.

Look closely. There is a gate. Could be that the iron door is getting re-textured in the default look, or it's a new block. Like stone brick and mossy stone brick. Both of which are amazing, by the way.

VILLAGES
THINGS TO BURN

I believe Stone Bricks/Mossy Bricks/Broken Bricks are an entirely new block. And The gates, I'm not sure as of now. Maybe a new block, maybe not.

I'm still curious on the new mushrooms.

You know how people make double-doors like this?

*-
-*

That's * being a pressure plate, and - being a door. So you step on one plate, and the doors open?

I hope gates or at least just a neater version of that. One long block that opens in the middle. Looks nicer, takes less space. Otherwise it's purely aesthetic. :/

I hope that the in game villages are better than Millenaire. Otherwise I will be disappoint and hope that Millenaire can be compatible with upgradable villages and growing populations, trade, etc.

Millenaire is shitty. It bugs out so much. Anything Notch makes will be better.

Feel free to slap the never-lasting crap out of me, but is there any specific server that the AZ community uses? I could go through the 200 or so pages of this thread but I'm lazy.
