Argh, the Tetris effect works for Minecraft even more than it does for Tetris.

Step 1: Find Obsidian deposit.
Step 2: Search for diamonds for hours
Step 3: Find diamonds and craft diamond pickax
Step 4: Mine Obsidian
Step 5: While you're mining the last block of Obsidian, hear "Ssssssss... BOOM!"
Step 6: Respawn
Step 7: Find the cave and return to the Obsidian deposit
Step 8: find out that your items disappeared.

Why does everyone hold this game on such a massive pedestal?

Magic squid

I'm jealous

Squid only spawn in my worlds at the bottom of the deepest abyss the game can muster :<

Because it's awesome? Protip: press F5 for third person view, you can see behind you a bit so you wont get sneak attacked by creepers

That just happens on multiplayer servers if you're lagging. The squid will continue in whatever direction they were going, when they would usually stop and change course by then.

Also I found the best mod ever, It's called Zombiecraft, and it makes the game a Minecraft version of Zombies on Call of Duty. NOW I DON'T HAVE TO PLAY $40-50 BUCKS FOR BLACK OPS JUST FOR ZOMBIES!
